This flat is clean, well located and decently furnished - although it should be made clear that it is a hotel suite and not an apartment.
Mohamad was a fantastic host right from the beginning. He responded quickly, arranged transportation for me and all my friends (we were not a small group) and was very hospitable. The rooms were nice. Diana Tower is a budget hotel, but a nice one in a very safe part of town. The front desk staff were great, the breakfast was included with the room and was very filling. Everyone in my group had a comfortable stay the whole time.
This is not an apartment it is actually a 2 star hotel. Which was really dissappointing as we already eliminated Diana Tower Hotel during our search. They uploaded different images to airbnb and that was the main reason we fall for this trick. The room was dirty, very small and two of the beds were literally in a U shape and impossible to sleep on.
If you are looking for an apartment this is definately not the place for you!
Check various travel sites and see the reviews of this hotel before booking it via airbnb.
We had an enjoyable stay in this apartment which is well located for the bars and nightlife on Hamra Street. The apartment is part of a hotel and we found the staff helpful with any questions we had. It also gets cleaned daily during your stay which is good. Would recommend it as a place to stay for a weekend in Beirut.
Mohamad was extremely helpful through out the whole booking process, his email replies and communication were very prompt. We had a wonderful stay in Lebanon. The Apartment was in a fantastic location, walking distance to the main street of Hamra, Bliss street, and the Corniche, where we walked to use the Riviera Beach on most days. The main bedroom was very comfortable. The hotel staff and cleaners were very pleasant, and majority spoke fluent english. They were able to help us with any requests that we had and made our stay relaxing and stress free! I would recommend Diana Towers apartment to any family looking for a 2 bedroom apartment or to any group of 4. Thanks once again for helping to make our week in beirut an unforgettable one!
Great place to stay, well located and cleaned everyday.
Pictures correspond with the place (it is not always the case)
Very good alternative to hotel if you are 3 or 4 to travel!
Mohamad was present right when we reached the apartment. He helped us get locations and told us places to go. The entire staff at the reception was very helpful. The apartment is very basic, no frills. The location is great, lot of cafes and restaurants are in a short walking distance.definitely recommend going there.
Mohamad was very helpful -- both before my friends and I arrived in Lebanon and once we were there. He arranged for a taxi from the airport to the apartment, which is housed in a nice hotel in the Hamra neighborhood of Beirut. When we arrived, he stopped by to make sure everything was good, as did the manager of the building. Everyone in the facilities was very eager to help us.
The apartment was a great value for our 5-day trip to Beirut. The price included breakfast, which was brought to our room in the mornings and WiFi (although the connection did not always work great). The location is central and safe, on a quiet side street between Hamra Street (full of shops, restaurants, and cafes) and Bliss Street (which runs by the American University of Beirut and is full of students and young people).
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
