This is the front entry room of a 2/2 house, and is separated by a curtain from a hallway area which leads to a bedroom (you will share a bathroom with the occupant), a full bath, and the kitchen. Contains one full-sized, pull-out couch, two chairs, two tables and a chest. Rental includes private entrance, access to bath and kitchen areas, front porch, back patio area, washer and dryer. Linens and towels will be provided.
The house is located 2.5 miles east of the Capitol on a quiet cul-de-sac a block from two bus lines that will get you downtown in 15 minutes and just a short cab ride to the Sixth Street entertainment districts. Cyclists are welcome, and my home is an easy 5-mile ride to Zilker Park and a 4-mile ride to Auditorium Shores along the beautiful hike and bike trail. During F1 and X Games there are city-mapped bicycle routes to those events as well.
There is one small, sweet, and well-behaved dog in the house, and all guests must be responsible for keeping her within the premises when entering and leaving.
This space can be rented on its own or in conjunction with my other listing for a Spacious, Sunny, East Side Bedroom, which contains a queen-sized bed, in order to accommodate four guests total. For this option search for "Two Bedrooms, One Bath on East Side."
Your hostess has lived in Austin for the past ten years, and enjoys riding her bicycle, cooling off in Austin's many swimming holes, seeing live music, and socializing with friends. A lover of all things food-related, I can provide recommendations for dining around town, as well as suggestions for where to have drinks or do some shopping. I love to travel and do so as often as I can, and I look forward to meeting more friends from around the globe.
Love, love, love. Eryn's place is all about location, I could get to SoCo, Barton Springs, Downtown - anywhere, within a few minutes drive. She is a gracious host with the perfect set up - not only do you get a bright, sunny, clean room but the front room can be your very own living room/office! (Though I suggest you get out and explore as much as you can!) Thank you, Eryn, I will for sure be back!
Eryn was an extremely accommodating host and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable in her home. She was unusually considerate and nothing, but pleasant to deal with. The room was a bargain and I only have good things to say about her place.
Eryn was a brilliant host. She provided welcome treats on our arrival and sorted out any queries we had immediately. The house was very comfortable. We all agreed we would definitely stay again!. Thanks for everything Eryn!!!
I came to Austin for SXSW and was lucky to find this room. It's a 10min/$10 ride by cab from downtown, or 25min by bus (the train is not really useful in fact).
Room is decorated with some influence from the 70's, it's a sofa, but I was able to sleep very well, being tired from SXSW certainly helped!
Eryn has two dogs, and as the room is separated by a curtain, they might come to the room, so you need to be fine with dogs (they are really nice)
