We (3 german Girls) stayed with Karim and Anne the whole time in Marakkesch, the riad is very quiet and relaxing, with an amazing roof top, everything very clean, you have the possibility to cook and you are in 10 minutes walking distance at the big Square! The two are very caring and helpful persons and we loved our stay there! :)
Description of the place was accurate. The riad is lovely and clean. Anne was not in there, only Karim. He is a kind person, but a bit unreliable. Although breakfast was one of the amenities promoted, Karim was never awake to provide it (the third day I told him to show me where to find it so I could do it myself). Booked a tour to the desert with him (he gave me no info as he told me he would take me to the place), but he never showed up and I had to call the tour company for info and run not to miss it.
The place is good and worth staying. As for the experience with the host, maybe I was just unlucky (looking at the great reviews).
My friend and I Booked the First days of our Marocco trip in Annie and Carims Riad. Both of them are very friendly, helpfull and make you feel at home. The Riad is a Perfect Place to get in touch with the croudy City, it is quiet with a Rooftop to relax. We enjoyed a lot talking with Annie, she gave us tips and answerd all our questions which where a lot. We allready booked our last two days in there Place. For me and Anna the Perfect Place!!!
We felt really welcomed by both Karim and Anna. While we were there Anna had her parents and sister visiting her from Holland so we all became like one big family.
Their house was a lovely traditional Moroccan home and the colored room which we had was a long casbah room on the main floor. Although there was plenty of space, it would have been nice to have a cupboard or something to hang our clothes on. We liked the location since we could easily walk to the big square, the Palais Bahia, and the Palais Badia.
L'emplacement est magnifique. Situé au coeur de la médina à environ 10 minutes de la place Jemaa El-Fnaa. Très propre. Les hôtes sont accueillants et toujours prêt à répondre à nos questions et nous donner des conseils.
