Lovely view on the valley, sweet relax in the smelling garden under a very old tree tasting a good wine and then to visit Firenze, Pisa, Siena only 30 km far from here and medieval castles, little churchs ,winery, across the beautiful Chianti road.....
With views of the countryside of the Chianti hills, in Montespertoli, a small village 25 km from Florence, I offer this house is a barn recently restored and very comfortable, comprising: two beautiful bedrooms (one double and one triple) two bathrooms ( only one with shower) a large kitchen with fireplace and a colorful and fragrant garden all around for wonderful breakfasts and dinners.
The house is equipped with tv/sky, telephone, internet wifi, washing machine, oven and private parking.
It 's an excellent place for hiking in the area: you can visit ancient castles and medieval towns (San Gimignano, Certaldo, Volterra. .. the heart of Chianti), the great wine farms where to taste wine and the other special local products, the wonderful cities Pisa and Siena are only 40 km away from here, and finally the magic Florence really easy to reach in 30 minutes by car or train.
The train station (email hidden) far from here with quick and frequent connections with the cities.
The bus station is at 1,5 km far , in the village's square.
The price is for a night all the entire house :two bedrooms , two bathrooms, a lovely kitchen/dining room, a nice garden!!
For a person more there is a little extra of 20 euro a night.
It's possible reserve dinner if you ask with special local food hand made and wine!!
I live at the second floor of the house and it will be a pleasure for me give you all the informations and suggestions about the territory around (wine-festival ,concerts, events, itineraries…) that you’ll need to enjoy in Tuscany.
In a space of the garden there are my two dogs, Jack and Rose, really quiet and sociable animal :they live in their enclousure .
The territory that stretches from Val di Pesa, Val d'Elsa is inhabited by many Florentines who come to live in this country, because it is relatively close to the city, and at the same time allows to live away from urban pollution! Tourism also is mainly linked to numerous farms in the area that offer good food, great wine and great views.
This was my favorite visit to Italy! Antonella is a wonderful host and her house is amazing. When we arrived Antonella had left us a local chianti and some home made tiramisu, which was so good! One evening we had Antonella cook for us (for an extra charge), the food was great and she even let us watch and help as she prepared some of the meal. The house is cozy with big rooms, clean, comfy beds, anything you could need is available for you. The house even smells good. There are guide books and business cards for local restaurants. Antonella suggested some to us and the ones we ate at were all excellent. She also suggested some great towns to visit and was always available if we had questions. I can't say enough good things about Antonella!
My family and I had a lovey time at Antonella's house. The house and garden are charming and the house is very well equipped. The weather was quite cool during our stay but the house was warm (note extra heating costs under conditions). She has lovely animals who like to visit as well!
That was a very nice experience and we would be happy to come back some time. Lovely place, perfect host and the best memories only. Thank you! Andrey
Our experience in this country house has been wonderful. We have always felt like home. Very nice location around vineyard and olive trees. Very clean and comfortable home with big rooms with their own windows with nice views of the hills. Perfect location if you want to visit Siena, Firenze and the chianti towns. Antonella was an incredible host! Very pleasant, told us lots of interesting places to visit, offered us local wine to taste and cooked a tiramisu for us! I can absolutely recommend her and her place to enjoy some days in Toscana.
Wow! This place is amazing. Antonella was an absolutely wonderful host. The guests have the bottom two floors to themselves and Antonella has the top floor, but you won't see her unless you need something (she is great about giving guests their privacy). It felt like having our own villa, with a gorgeous terrace and garden with spectacular views across the countryside. Perfectly located - feels very secluded, but only a couple of minutes drive from the charming little town of Montespertoli (no tourists, just locals!). Tons of attractions and sights within easy driving distance - San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena etc. Only 25 mins from Florence. The house itself is simply gorgeous - very very cosy (especially with a fire in the huge fireplace), with everything you could need to make delicious meals. On our last night Antonella cooked an incredible meal for us (this costs extra) which included her own olives and artichokes from her garden, and her mother's lasagna. It was incredible. Like most Tuscans she really knows her food and wine! She was very gracious; her two dogs and her cat were also well behaved. Overall, this was a magical experience. Highly, highly recommended!
The place is beautiful! Antonella is a wonderful host and it was a pleasure staying in her cosy and clean place. The location is perfect for trips to Firenze, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Volterra, San Giminiano and even a trip to the sea.
Antonella's place is the middle of vineyards and lots of olive trees but yet very close to the small town of Montespertoli where you can buy all you need for you daily lives. There are nice restaurants in the area! Ask for tips!
The two dogs, Jack and Rose, are very good with kids. Our two boys loved playing with them.
Antonella met us as planned. This was the only time we saw her. House was just like the pictures. Lovely. Wine, milk, water was in fridge on arrival, and wonderful homemade tiramasu was waiting for us one evening. This home is definitely for the animal lover. There were 2 dogs, one of them could open the door. So if you did not want him in the house, you needed to keep the door locked. The cat always managed to find a way into the house. The only negative to staying there are the beds. Very soft, and you tend to sink into the middle.
This is the most authentic Tuscan experience you could wish for. We had a car here and drove everywhere! Antoinella was a fabulous host and her knowledge of the area was brilliant. We loved this villa and didn't want to leave!
We couldn't have picked a lovelier place to stay! Antonella was a wonderful hostess and her home is located right in the heart of Tuscany. our time there was just as we had dreamed a stay in Tuscany would be...even better! The home has a beautiful view and several terraces to enjoy a meal, a drink and great conversation with friends. everything was available to us and the location lent itself to great day trips in all directions. We only wish we would have had more time to stay! Thank you so much, Antonella for your kindness! Tell Jack, Rose and Musetta we say hello!!
We (2 adults and 2 kids) had a wonderful time at Antonella's place. The house is a lovely oasis in the middle of the Chianti area and an ideal starting point for visiting the area. It is cozy whilst spacious, well equipped, decorated with many lovely details and has a really nice garden with olive trees, a terrace with hammocks and everything you would paint into a picture of a beautiful Toscan home. And Antonella really is a great host, who has made this a perfect stay. Thanks Antonella!
