The loft is even more spacious than it looks and has lots of style. The neighborhood is super cool and there is so much to do at a walking distance.
Jonathan is a very friendly host. He was kind enough to meet me when I arrived around midnight! He made sure that I find everything I need in and out of his apartment - around the neighborhood. He came by when I needed help, and made sure I would be most convenient even when the dryer was broken for a few days. Great hospitality! I recommend anyone visiting the city to live here!
Jonathan met me on arrival and gave me the tour of his awesome space. The flat is wonderful and open plan with flooding natural light. The kitchen is fantastic and the projector and huge screen is a great touch if you want an evening in watching a film.
I visit SF a lot, but never in the lower mission/protrero hill area. It's a really cool area with cafés, bars and restaurants. Also a climbing gym, which I ended up going regularly too.
Jonathan is a great guy, super responsive and knows the area well.
Looking forward to my next trip and staying at his place again.
Jonathan was a great host. We didn't have much interaction but he texted me occasionally to make sure everything was going smoothly. The place was fantastic, I stayed for about 3 weeks and really thought it was a terrific spot.
Jonathan's apartment was great. Its a lovely loft space, good kitchen facilities and the bed was firm and comfortable. Everything worked fine.
• Jonathan was a very responsive host the couple of times I needed answers, and helped me sort out desk space to work at.
• The location is great for restaurants and 2 lovely cafes (Universal and Atlas), and public transport along Bryant street is very convenient.
* It's also a few minutes walk from Mission and Valencia streets - the 2 faces of the Mission district: Mexican/Central American and the more recent hipster, arty Valencia crowd
* Great Ice-cream shop nearby on 24th and harrison, and 24th street ifs amazing
About the Host, Jonathan
I am a tech professional, lived all around the world, loving SF the most. Currently starting my own company, but been at Google and Facebook for a while, so if you're a techie visiting town, we probably have more to talk about aside from local bars and restaurants (which I'm happy to tell you all about, by the way!)
I'm interested in photography, cooking, world travel, technology, environment, music, art and meeting new people.
The house has a modern and well-equipped kitchen. If you enjoy good food you'll love it. It is also spacious and full of light during the day, and set up nicely for hosting small get togethers with friends (please do coordinate beforehand with me).
Excited to host you and make some new friends!
