Apartment is clean and modern, centrally located good value for money with four guests. Wifi doesnt work in rooms, only living area. Hot water lasts about 2 minutes. Only one key which is a huge issue when travelling with more than one other person. Lady that met us was late both time we check into the apartment and threatened that there were cameras which we assumed was a lie but still made us feel uncomfortable.

Response from Carmen:
Hi Gabriela, The information provided about the cameras is true. There are cameras in all the public areas of the building (not in the apartments) to protect the security of the guests and the security of the neighbours. Security is a priority for us. Regarding internet we are updating internet facilities in all the apartments and we hope to have finished next week in order to have a hight speed connection (what in Peru is not vey common). Carmen.

Staying in Carmen's apartment was fantastic! My friends and I had two days in Lima before our flight. Ask to Los Angeles. We decided to stay in Miraflores per the advice of most of our traveler friends. Carmen was very easy to communicate with and she made sure there was open communication with Katty, her friend who was taking care of her apartment. Her apartment building is very modern and was just the right size for me and my two friends. We were able to walk to many places such as the Lacromar Shopping Center, Parque del Amor, etc. The apartment is also close to public transportation. We were able to take a bus for S./1.50 to the city center of Lima and see the Plaza de Armas! Definitely a good price than taking a taxi! Check out was easy! We asked Katty to arrange for us to have a ride to the airport early in the morning and our ride was on time and very helpful. Overall, our experience in Miraflores was great! If I were to be in Lima again, I'd love to stay here. I would definitely recommend!

Our family of four had an excellent experience at Carmen's place. The location is within comfortable walking distance to both Parque Kennedy and Larcomar, making it so easy to find places to eat and things to do. The apartment was very clean and modern. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Carmen and Katty (her in-country associate) were very responsive and answered our questions within the hour. I would recommend this place highly and would love to stay here again if I made another trip to Lima.

The apartment is perfect for 2 couples or a family. Good Wi-Fi in the living room (not so good in the bedrooms), comfortable bed, one of the best showers I've had in Peru. The laundry and kitchen have everything you need. Only 5 min walk from the centre of town. Perfect location. There were a couple of lights not working and a wine stain on one bed when we arrived, however these issues were rectified very quickly and the communication was great. Don't expect to be able to sleep in, the construction site next door is very noisy. We still highly recommended this place though. Thanks for having us!

I was traveling in Peru with a couple of friends and we stayed at quite a few AirBNBs and this was definitely one of the top ones. The unit is located in a condomium complex (6th floor) with a security guard at the front. The listed apartment address is slightly different than the actual one -- make sure you obtain the actual one and give that one to your cab driver, otherwise, there might be some confusion with getting to the condo as we had experienced. We checked in quite late as our flight was delayed -- we checked in at about 1am which was fine, we obtained the keys from the security guard. When you walk into the unit, you will be mesmerized. It is very clean and the decor is something you might see in a interior design magazine. There's a whole kitchen with all the amendities, a long bar/table area with seats, a living room, and a balcony (there is not really a great view). I understand that hosts sometimes post pictures of the city that is outside from the view of the apartment (e.g., posting a picture of a sunset from the beach) -- this was the case here. At the time we saw the post, the last three pictures were NOT taken from the apartment -- I think this is important to note because people may book the place because they believe they will get a particular view. Another thing to caution is the noise level of the construction going on. Although the apartment is in a central area of Miraflores, it is also an up and coming area with construction going on -- you will hear constructions starting at maybe 6:30 or 7 am -- so be aware. Other than that, the place was great! I'd recommend the place for a group of 3 or 4 people who enjoy a change to a higher end scene -- we got a very good value of the place, especially if you compare it to hotel prices!
