Norreen is a very sympathetic hostess. The cottage has a great location with a wonderful view of the sea. The decor of the house is dated but clean.

Cozy and quiet. Our 3 night stay was the heart of our trip to Ireland, and we greatly enjoyed the scenery of the Dingle Peninsula from here. The location is situated perfectly for a drive along Slea Head and the Wild Atlantic Way and seeing the towns of Dingle or Tralee. The beach access is superb, and the views of the bay are amazing. There are some great places to eat nearby. By far one of the best places I have ever stayed for relaxation. The accommodations were perfect for the four of us with the separate bedrooms upstairs. Privacy and comfort very good. Sleeping-in was not interrupted by noise or activity downstairs. Noreen was just a few steps away at her house if needed for a question and she was very helpful. If you care to make day trips there are some some top attractions near the Killarney area about an hour away. Tralee has some very neat museums as well. There is very good food and great pubs in Dingle, just 15 minutes to the other side of the Peninsula (but you will stop to take photos of the views which will slow you down) across the mountain pass, watch out for the sheep! Whether you want to go windsurfing, hiking, or fishing, or just driving the Wild Atlantic Way, it's all right there.

A hidden gem; we had a fantastic stay at Fortfarm House with stunning views of the sea and breakers on one side and heather-covered slopes behind. The gently-shelving sandy beach 5 mins walk away was almost always deserted. Noreen and Dermot living nearby were so friendly and helpful in advising the best spots to visit on the Dingle peninsula, with Tralee and the Ring of Kerry a short drive away. The house is fully equipped with a large kitchen, dining room and lounge, with a washer, drier and tv / dvd-player if the weather gets too wet outside. A large number of photographs on the walls show how good the sea-bass fishing from the shore is. In short the house and location are beautiful and remote and we would definitely want to visit again

We had wonderful time with Noreen in her self service Fortfarm House. Noreen went far beyond the call of duty when we had trouble heading to Tralee! Thanks for sparing your space with us! The sun rises, sunsets, sunny skies and rainy days were all perfect! Thanks!
