This is a very large (600 sf) studio apartment in Washington's most exclusive building. It is on the top (11th) floor with tons of light and great views. All original Art Deco details--hardwood floors, built in cabinets, etc. It is furnished with beautiful art and antiques and has a washer/dryer and dishwasher. There is a new queen size top of the line memory foam bed, as well as a full size air mattress if needed. The apartment is within easy walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants (and Metro stations) in Woodley and Cleveland Park. The National Zoo is a block away. It is one stop on the Metro to Dupont Circle. There is a 20 meter indoor lap pool and a full-service gym with a steam room in the building. Both are open 24/7. Cable TV, high speed wireless internet, kitchen essentials, all bedding and linens, and complimentary luxury bath products are included. Sorry, no pets. Covered garage valet parking is available for $16 for 24 hours. There is a three night minimum stay. Available by the week or month, as well. Thanks.
This apartment is nicely appointed and located in a very nice building - the kennedy warren. Staying in this space is like staying in an art gallery! It is only a fifteen minute walk from he woodly park station and the Marriott Wardman park. If you are attending a conference in the marriot or Omni and those hotels are booked this should be you next choice (because it will me my first, no competition please!). If for some reason you need a car just leave at the Marriott it will be simpler.
Marc's apartment is beautiful in a great area of DC. Had no problems, was a great host. He was very gracious when I mistakenly arrived a day early.
Great apartment! Location is really convenient, quiet and close to the subway and restaurants. Building has nice amenities. I felt like at home. Thanks Marc!
Great location, near Metro and Zoo. Building very impressive, pool, public lounge, doorman.
Apartment attractive and functional, washer and drier, full of antiques, good kitchen and very comfortable.
Only problem was too many personal objects on all surfaces meant there was little room for our belongings.
Marc's place is a great place to stay. The building is VERY nice. I had a chance to enjoy the pool for a good workout. Marc's apartment is very comfortable; I had no problems whatsoever. Marc was also very understanding when I had to push back my arrival date, significantly cutting short my original plan, due to the government shutdown. I would highly recommend this place.
Location: Outstanding - many wonderful restaurants and services within blocks, including two Metro stations. Zoo is next door!
Building: A beautiful apartment building with a great exercise room and lap pool, plus an amazing roof deck, attended entrance and very polite staff. We also used the main floor lounge for reading when one of us wanted to turn in early.
Host: Marc was so hospitable and flexible with us. He was a fine host.
Apartment: This is the only reason we dropped a star from what might have been four, and this is our issue, not Marc's. The studio arrangement wasn't the best size for us, and Marc's extensive and quite interesting collection of pictures and objects impacted an already small space. For us, it would be perfect for one person, but it was a bit tight for these two.
Staying at Marc's apartment was a great experience. He was very pleasant to work with. He was flexible about our check in/check out times and met us at the apartment to show us around. The apartment was in a terrific location with easy access to everything we needed and wanted to do in DC. The underground parking perfect and the workout room downstairs was great. There's even an indoor pool and a rooftop deck! We loved our time staying at Marc's apartment and highly recommend it!
Marc was gracious and helpful upon our arrival. Apartment was neat and very nice. Only thing we were concerned about were the many collectibles Marc has on display. We were very careful not to damage any of these items. Parking arrangements in the lower level were great and price was excellent.
I was staying in DC for two months for work and I was looking to stay at a place that makes your life easier and so Marc's apartment was just perfect. It's a beautifully decorated apartment that has all the essentials. The building is absolutely amazing. It has a 24 hour gym and is extremely secure. The front desk can also help you with many things like your dry cleaning or could provide you with a car that can take you anywhere you want (for a good price of course). The location is also very conveniant. There is a CVS pharmacy, supermarket, dry cleaning, organic supermarket, movie theater, starbucks, and many restaurants just a short walk away. The Cleveland Park metro is also a 4-5 min walk away which makes transportation easier. There is a bus stop right in front of the building also. Marc is a great host. He provides you with anything you need right away and can be easily contacted. If you need a place to stay in DC, I highly recommend Marc's place. It's like another home away from home.
My fiancee and I had an excellent stay in Marc's apartment. The place is absolutely charming, tastefully decorated, and functional in the same time. It is situated in a great location, very close to the metro and an easy stroll to the main sightseeing, shopping areas and awesome restaurants. Moreover, not only the apartment is awesome but Marc is a great host, very easy to deal with and very respectful. WeI will definitively contact Marc whenever we will visit DC in the future :D.
