Studio just renovated, beautifully furnished with every comfort and terrace in the historic center near Corso Mazzini and Teatro Nuovo, a short walk from the Duomo and the main sights and monuments.
The apartment has a full kitchen with oven, fridge and washing machine, LCD TV, traditional heating and air conditioning hot / cold.
Nearby are also shops, bars and restaurants, so there is no need to use the car as all the major points of interest are nearby and the bus stop is right outside the building.
Spoleto, small town but one day is not enough to see all that it offers to the tourist, nestled by the green of the trees - embellished by precious cathedral, the monumental Rocca Albornoz and the Ponte delle Torri - enriched by art, dance and music of the Festival of Two Worlds. It attracts tourists in Umbria from all over the world. Not only historical but also modernity and tradition and a wonderful kitchen that makes everyone happy.
This is the loveliest AirBnb apartment we have stayed.
It has a perfect location in the historic center and it looks even better in real life than in photos. The little kitchen is equipped for cooking, just bring your kitchen knife.
Almost all circolare buses stop at the "teatro nuovo" bus stop. So at the train station, don't ask for a bus that goes to "centro", ask for the "teatro nuovo" stop - or you'll get wrong information and miss the bus like we did.
Sara is a nice person and a wonderful, flexible host. Thank you so much!
This was an amazing studio apartment in a perfect location in Spoleto. Well decorated, spacious, plus comfy bed. There's air conditioning, but no wifi. Only two flights of stairs to get there (American 3rd floor). Sara had snacks and drinks waiting for us, so that was wonderful. Overall we were very content and comfortable during our stay. I highly recommend it, especially for longer stays.
Lots of windows so it's bright and airy. Most all windows have shutters so you can shut out most light for nighttime. The views from the apartment are of blue skies, terra-cotta rooftops, and bell towers. There's lots of cabinets for clothes, kitchen ware, large stovetop, modern washing machine, and drying rack on a private balcony - all in all a very comfortable situation. No car or public transport is necessary since the old town plazas and a lovely pedestrian street are just a 5 minute uphill walk. (In an Italian hilltop town, everything is uphill) Perfectly safe area and picturesque town.
Cons: The apartment was great and I can't think of anything negative. (although having wifi would have been an added bonus). I will say that getting to the apartment from the train station can be tricky. I ended up walking - but it was a 30 min hike straight uphill with bags. There are buses, but I couldn't find the right bus stop. Plus it was midday so the shop selling tickets was closed. My advice is to know exactly which bus to take and where the stop is before you arrive, and buy the ticket inside the train station at the news shop/newsstand upon arrival.
