The apartment was a little too small for us and there were issues with the toilet; otherwise, a wonderful location in a very nice building with an elevator and a generous supply of linens for a very comfortable bed. Our December visit was also rewarded with very nice heating. Thank you, Cecilia and Ms Elena for seeing to our comfort.
We enjoyed our stay with Cecilia's very much. We were in Rome for a week and the apartment was the perfect location for sight-seeing and very close to the metro, bus stop, and taxi ranks.
Nice comfy flat in central Rome, felt really safe. Was great location, near subway and close to Spanish steps. Lots of nice restaurants around. We had a wonderful time in Rome in Celia's flat really comfy and clean. Check-in was a breeze. We had a wonderful time.
This was the apartment was the perfect location, price and assistance from Cecilia!!! We spoke to so many other tourist who stayed way out of town and paid more. Granted we only stayed 3 days, the apartment was small but had everything we needed. Who wants to lounge inside when in Rome? We could not be happier with our stay here and would definitely stay again! Grazie Cecilia!
Tips for rome: Buy your train ticket at train station & not online. Take taxi from taxi line & no one else. Make reservations at the better restaurants. Take guided tours when possible and makes sense (check credentials, some have more access than others). Get audio tours when appropriate. Save energy to do Rome at night, which we did not do :( . Tip moderately, but TIP! If your waiter is a jerk, then dont. Hint before that you will tip & enjoy a better experience. LASTLY: eat the Spaghetti al Carbonara at Ristorante Virgilio at Campo De Fiori and you will of had the best!
Grazie Ancora Celilia!!!
This is a great flat in a great location. Everything was well-explained when we arrived and the flat was nice and clean. It was quiet as other reviews have said and very central to the metro and the Vatican. Very much recommend staying here!
A wonderful, central yet quiet apartment in the middle of Rome. It is a walking distance from the Vatican and from a metro station, close to supermarkets, every kind of store you need and even a superb local fruit and vegetable market.
The apartment had everything we needed - a well equipped kitchen, a clean shower and an air conditioned spacious bedroom. We stayed in Cecilia's apartment about one week and really enjoyed it.
The apartment was excellently located, close enough to walk everywhere, but in a neighbourhood with few tourists and a lot of good businesses, so that it was very easy to shop for food. The flat is also within a five minute walk of the tube station.
The apartment itself was very nicely furnished and comfortable to live in.
Finally, there were no problems during the stay. A friend of Cecilia's was there to greet me on arrival, ensured I had everything necessary, and was always easy to reach should there have been any problems, of which there were none.
The location of the apartment was ideal for us. We could walk to the Vatican, and many of the key attractions in Rome were within walking distance as well. The apartment is in a very nice area and is quite close to the Lepanto station. The apartment was a good size for a couple. We were in Rome during some very hot weather, the air-conditioning struggled a bit, and we found the wi-fi a little unreliable. Overall we enjoyed our stay there, and had some good meals at nearby restaurants, and made the most of some nice shops nearby. Cecilia was a very good person to communicate with and was very helpful in meeting us at the apartment.
