About this listing
I#m happy to welcome you in a separate room (8 m², one double bed) in a beautiful attic "Paris", of the total area of 60 m² with a romantic atmosphere. It's on the 6th floor and 5-7 min. walk from the subway (line 7, Pantin-Aubervilliers station Four paths), near the Parc de la Villette - out of town to Le Bourget and Roissy-Charles de Gaulle.
There are many shops around : a bakery just downstairs (another 24/24h opened bakery at the metro station), a supermarket Franprix really close and 3 others big supermakets at 10 mns walk.
Nearby you have a park and a large free public parking with a strong chance of finding a site (3 in 4 chance).
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a toaster, an electric cooker.
In the bathroom, there's a shower and a bathroom, and a washing machine.
Cable TV, WIFI etc..
Frequent case in the older buildings in Paris - there is no elevator ;)
Todo estuvo muy bien.
Denis es una persona amable y pone a tu disposición lo necesario, la ubicación es adecuada.
I enjoyed the weekend in Paris and it was very convenient getting everywhere from the attic: 17 mins to Sacre Coeur, 22 mins to Centre George Pompidou, 30 mins to Notre Damme- all by bicycle.
Denis is a friendly host. Would definitely come back again!
I like Denis's home a lot, so unique and beautiful! Since he was a filmmaker before as well (also in art dept.), so we have similar taste.:-)
As other's review, habbit cave is hard for tall people, I am 6ft tall but I found that it was not a problem, as long as you were slow down your movement and treated the home with love.:-)
Denis is a quiet, considerate guy, offered me all the thing he had, so nice.
And the location is along m7, where direct to city center, Gare de Est or Operá, so it is rather a good place.
And the price, fair enough for the expensive Paris! I highly recommend!
Merci pour le logement, heureusement il n'a pas fait trop chaud grâce à la petite fenêtre dans la chambre. Denis est arrangeant et nous laisse libre d'aller et venir comme nous le souhaitons.
We had a great time in Denis's attic apartment! Pictures generally accurate - it is an attic, so be mindful! That said, my boyfriend is 6'2" and only bumped his head a couple times (and it is far from rare for him to bump his head, wherever he is!).
Denis was very accommodating, giving us full access to his home and being flexible on our check in/out times.
It was suuuper hot when we were in Paris (high 90s into 100s F) - there's a big skylight window that open up in the bedroom, but the nights were still stiflingly hot. That said, they were stiflingly hot everywhere in Paris, so one can hardly count that against the apt ;)
Would definitely stay here again, and definitely recommend it! :)
denis is very hospitable. The house is near the metro station and within minutes we are in the center of paris . he is very understanding if we have to come late or leave early enough . the negative points is that the ceiling is low and we have to squat in to enter the divisions and the house is on the 5th floor with no elevator and narrow stairs .
Denis was very welcoming and did his best to accommodate us as easily as one can given the hustle and bustle of such a large city. We came by car, so finding parking is a nightmare. After we arrived, Denis offered to ride with with us to show us where we could park for free, about 10 minutes walk from the apartment (behind the church).
Read the other reviews and description on the place before booking, if you go in with a clear understanding of the apartment then you can appreciate the value it offers. My wife and I would stay again and wish to have had the time to extend by a few days.
