I#m happy to welcome you in a separate room (8 m², one double bed) in a beautiful attic "Paris", of the total area of 60 m² with a romantic atmosphere. It's on the 6th floor and 5-7 min. walk from the subway (line 7, Pantin-Aubervilliers station Four paths), near the Parc de la Villette - out of town to Le Bourget and Roissy-Charles de Gaulle.
There are many shops around : a bakery just downstairs (another 24/24h opened bakery at the metro station), a supermarket Franprix really close and 3 others big supermakets at 10 mns walk.
Nearby you have a park and a large free public parking with a strong chance of finding a site (3 in 4 chance).
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a toaster, an electric cooker.
In the bathroom, there's a shower and a bathroom, and a washing machine.
Cable TV, WIFI etc..
Frequent case in the older buildings in Paris - there is no elevator ;)
Denis was a very nice guy. Our train was delayed 90min but we still checked in smoothly. The flat is definitely very interesting in that there are really low beams and the ceiling is at different heights everywhere. I've never lived in an attic before so it was a first. The neighborhood seems sketch at night but its fine, but still always be warey. You must walk up all 6 flights of stairs and it is quite far from the city center. That said, you will probably not find a place more affordable than this if you want to see Paris on a budget. If you are just looking for an affordable place to sleep while you explore paris during the day I would recommend this place
Really great! Easy to get to and from Paris. Denis was very flexible and a great host. Note- watch out for the low beams!
Denis was a very nice host. His apartment is a cosy attic in an interesting suburb.
Denis was a very polite and helpful person. It was a very interesting stay with him.
It is very strange situation to pay small prise for the flat and expect the large comfort. Denis was a polite and kind men. He gave us coffee, internet, clean room and sheets. Also he give an opportunity to stay alone in your flat. It is very important.
Than more strange district than more interesting to live there.
This place was a very long walk from the Metro. 20 minutes walk through a not great area and then up to the 7th floor without a lift. It was also pretty dirty.
Denis is a great person who, in spite of limited English, tries his best to be a good, accommodating host. The atic apartment is not for the faint of heart, however. The 6 flights of steps alone would discourage some. I was a little disappointed in the condition of the apartment including low ceilings and beams. The Wi-Fi, BBC, CNN, etc. was good and the kitchen and bathroom worked.
The worse thing was that I didn't get an answer to my last emails and somehow did not get the code to the side door which is essential for entrance since Denis 'busser doesn't work. Arriving after midnight in the rain, if another tenant had not let us in, we would have had to spend the night on the street.
Denis was a very nice hostel. The bedroom was nice too. The neiborhood was okay. The subway its close to the apartament and its good. Paris is beautiful. Enjoy ;
Had an excellent stay with Denis who was a great host. He had a large room and responded very quickly to my messages.
We had a really nice stay! Denis made us tea and coffee :) we were sad to only get to stay one night with him. He's a fantastic hos and replied quickly to our messages.
