You can reach Bol by a catamaran directly from Split (passengers only), or by ferry from Split to Supetar (also on island Brač) and then from Supetar to Bol by car, by bus or by taxi; the ferries travel every 90 minutes. Moreover, there are numerous taxies in the Supetar harbour waiting for passengers from Split.
Bol can be reached by planes landing to the Island of Brač Airport: especially during the summer months, Bol has excellent links with several larger European cities. Brac Airport is located only ten kilometers from Bol. Croatia Airways, and other European air-carriers offer very favorable seasonal flights to both Bol and Split, since Split Airport is also close to Bol.
Stunning apartment and balcony. Good location not far from main town., Jaksa was a great friendly host and kindly drove us to get the ferry.
Would have liked to have stated longer, definitely recommend.
Jaksa is a very friendly host, he was always ready for whatever we needed. The apartment was very nice, very clean and well furnished. The house is located in a beautiful and peaceful area of Bol. We also loved the family made meals and the whole atmosphere. Bol also is very nice spot also for family with small children. We will be back in Bol at some stage and for sure it will be at Jaksa place. Thanks for everything Jaksa.
The best stay in Croatia I have ever had. Jakša is the most kindest host you could imagine. He provided us with many useful information, so we spent an amazing 6 days there.
We had our dog with us and it's perfect place when you want to enjoy holiday with your pet. Jaksa also recommend us a few beaches where dogs are permit.
The Zlatni rat beach, considered The Seychelles of The Adriatic, is about 15 minutes from Villa Franka by walk.
To sum it up, definitely I would love to come back in the future.
It's a roomy 1-bdrm basement suite, quiet new and well furbished on the slope directly above the village of Bol. The glass front door and bedroom windows are the only sources of natural light, but the air quality was good, and my wife and I didn't feel wanting for light with the shutter doors open -- even through it was raining much of the 2 nights of our stay. As someone who likes to cook, I was a bit surprised at the lack of basics in the kitchen (like salt & pepper, sugar, a bit of cooking oil, or a good basic chef's knife) -- but our host who lives upstairs was responsive to our requests. (And my complaint about a good basic chef knife applies to virtually every holiday rental I've ever stayed at.)

We had a truely excellent stay here. Jaksa is a very friendly host. The house is very nice, well maintained and equiped, and very clean. The view and surroundings are stunning. Highly recommended!
