Newly and extensively renovated cottage. 2 min drive from the A15 Borgotaro toll booth! Get away from the hustle and bustle, and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this mountain cottage retreat. Yet all the major tourist attractions and shopping are close. This self-contained 2 bedroom country cottage sleeps up to 6 people. Located in the NW region of Italy on the border of Tuscany and Liguria. Day trip to Cinque Terre, Florence, Pisa etc. Free pick-up and drop-off at the Berceto train station.

The space
Come and experience the real Italy in a truly authentic and personal manner. Casa Molinari is a private, clean and completely self-sufficient 2 bedroom cottage. It is located on Tuscany, Liguria and Emilia Romagna border. Sleeps 6 comfortably (1 Queen size beds, 2 bunk beds and a Double pull-out bed/couch in the living room. There is also a studio apartment that can be rented in addition, and this sleeps 2 adults comfortably (Queen size bed) with a private bathroom. This space is also advertised on airbnb. For parties larger than 8 guests, the property is very large and well maintained so tents could be pitched for additional fees of 20 euros a head.

There is an outdoor entertainment area, BBQ/Cooking and picnic area. This charming and very private cottage is located on a large piece of land that has a fruit tree orchard. It is in the country, but is close to the town town and all the services - pure happiness. An hour drive from the sea and the beaches. Parma, Italy, in Borgo Val di Taro (and various accessories) are in the vicinity. It is very close to #15 highway (a la Spezia and Parma), the train and several airports Pisa and Milan). Borgo Val di Taro is 11 km away, and has all the necessary amenities. A quiet retreat is a great way to spend a holiday among the excursions to various tourist attractions and the nearby cities. Use, it as a base for visiting the tourist attractions in Parma, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Venice, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lucca etc. most of north-west, the tourist attractions are easily accessible by car or train.

Excellent quality for the price. The most economical and authentic way to see Italy with a family or a small group of friends. Let us be your host and show you a side of Italy that few ever get to experience.

Dave Molinari is a highly experienced hiker and guide. He has hiked, on at least one or more occasions, the majority of the mountains in the ranges that span Emilia-Romagna, Liguria, and Tuscany Italy over the past five years. Dave is a National Coaching Certification Program “B” License Coach and Trainer, and he has played and coached sport at the international level for over fifteen years. He has coached and developed athletes of all ages, genders and abilities. Ten years ago, Dave visited Italy with his family and reconnected to his roots. The family then decided to relocate and pursue his love of hiking in the beautiful mountains of Northern Italy. Dave completed a M.Sc. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Ergonomics from the University of Calgary, Canada in 1997 and a B.A. (Honors) in Leadership and Applied Psychology in 1990. He has taught Introductory Psychology, Leadership, Ethics, Human Resources Recruiting and Selection, and several other topics at the college and university level. Dave is excited to share a few of his most favorite local hikes with you. Dave speaks English and is functional in Italian. Dave is a life-long practitioner of multi sports and athletic disciplines, having competed and played at a high level. He has been a soccer, fitness and recreational teacher for most of his life. Dave believes in mind, body and soul. He teaches enthusiastically and encourages a balanced, healthy, positive, and productive lifestyle. Dave has been hosting yoga, fitness and recreational events for past thirsty years. Along with her husband and two dogs, she relocated to Italy and enjoys hiking the many mountains nearby her house. Dave’s true love is hosting Yoga and Hiking Retreats in Italy. He hopes to share his knowledge and experience with other yoga practitioners, and continue in his quest for life-long learning about this discipline and its great philosophical and spiritual teachings.
