The space
Welcome to East Side Costa Mesa!
Please read this entire message before you request not stay.
You will be staying in our Pretty and well kept clean Home in Popular Eastside Costa Mesa.
Guests will have access to a private section of the house for guests only, through a private entrance. There is a Queen Bed in the Bedroom, Private bathroom. The rest of the home is not assessable.
Note: We do live in the house and a common wall separates the 2 sections. You may hear us going about our day and we get up early. The grandkids may be over during the day.
We are not well suited for people who are needing to sleep late in the morning or recover from Jet Lag. Most of our guests come to enjoy the area and are gone much of the day.
There is no laundry or kitchen but there is a mini fridge and microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, paper plates, plastic cups, coffee mugs, utensils and napkins.
The neighborhood has many great places to get coffee, great food and laundromat within walking distance. See the guidebook.
The room has original hard wood floors and are creaky, letting you know in advance.
The Queen size bed, organic Savvta mattress encased in hypo allergenic, anti bed bug protection, clean sheets and lots towels provided.
There is plenty of closet space to store your stuff as well as a full length mirrors on the wall. We provide Water from Citizen Water Co, reverse osmosis and remineralized in a large 5 gallon container with a pump.
IF YOU ARE A SMOKER DO NOT BOOK WITH US, Smokers leave a smell in the room and I have lost bookings due to the odor left behind. Don't think I will not know, I will, and you will be charged for extra cleaning, $95, and for any lost bookings.
We are not pot or party friendly, please take the party away from the home and don't expect to have complete quiet during the day to recover from a hangover, Ha Ha. Again, we do live in the house.
The climate in Costa Mesa is usually very mild, most homes do not have air-conditioning. In the summer you will need to open the windows and turn the ceiling fan on, as this room does not have air conditioning. If you are not used to warmer weather please consider this before you book.
We do not have air-conditioning, it's not needed much here, we do have a large ceiling fan and provide 2 other plug in fans. The evening breeze cools this area in the summer. I recommend opening the front windows to allow the breeze to flow in.
Please note: Internet connectivity in Eastside Costa Mesa is not always reliable no matter which provider we are with. I don’t give refunds for this because I can’t control it.
We do not have a TV in the room. Due to lack of use the TV and cable box has been removed.
Note: We live on a normal neighborhood street that does have cars going by, there will be the usual amount of noise from traffic.
Parking is available on the street, but Wednesday morning is street cleaning.
The note in the room explains where to park.
Please don't park in our driveway or block any part of any driveway including the slope, you may get a ticket.
Check in is self serve. Check in anytime after 11am, on Sunday's check in anytime after noon. Checkout is by 9am, Sundays check out by 11am.
For those of you who are not familiar with the area, East Side Costa Mesa is a real hot spot in Orange County! We are right by John Wayne Airport, less than a mile from the beach, and close to so many amazing local coffee shops and eateries. Eastside Costa Mesa has everything so close by.
Within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and great coffee shops.

Guest access
Guests have access to the suite through a private entrance into the separate space for guests. The rest of the house is not accessible.
Check in is Self Serve so you can come anytime after 11am Monday -Saturday,
On Sunday check in any time after noon.
On the day you arrive I'll send the code to the keyless lock. The private entrance is on the left side of the house as you approach from the street.
Look for the door with the Shell Cross on it.
Only paid guests are allowed on the property, our insurance rules, sorry.

Park your car on the street except for Wednesday am 8-10am for street sweeping. Please don't park in the driveway or block any part of any driveway including the downslope, you could get a ticket, thanks.
