    Great day out for fans of air history - built on the site of Hendon Aerodrome and an early aircraft factory. Best by public transport from Hendon Central to Colindale. Food not world class standard.

    The UKs National Stadium - a great venue but with very expensive food. Best to get there either via public transport or helicopter. Good for football, pop concerts and similar events.
