Great house, lot of light and biggest than it looks in the pictures. We were a family with 2 kids, they enjoyed the toys and books in the house. There is a park and playground just round the corner. Good location, very closed by bus to the town centre and all facilities!

Deanna's home was lovely and wonderful with a beautiful view of the city. When the Military Tattoo is happening during the summer, you can even see fireworks over the castle from the kitchen! The bed was very comfortable and her home is clean and neat. It is right in front of a bus stop that takes you straight to City Center or it is a 10 minute cab ride to the Castle.

Absolutely fantastic! Literally couldn't have expected a better place. Such a cosy flat for our stay in Edinburgh, beautifully decorated and the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Beautiful view of the city centre and Edinburgh castle from the window and bedrooms. Everything spotlessly clean and great kitchen with everything you might need. Deanna was kind enough to also buy us the essentials in the fridge. Direct bus to city centre takes just 20 means leaving right opposite the building's entrance. Would highly recommend and I hope I can visit again!

We are a family of four, with two school aged children, who stayed in Edinburgh for 1 month. The Hosts Wonderful! So welcoming and accommodating. Deanna and her daughter Martha went out of their way to make us feel at home in their beautiful holiday apartment. Deanna was very prompt with every inquiry, and had some great ideas for activities to make our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast items were supplied. Deanna even made reservations for us at a pub on our first night. The Apartment Very cool, boutique-style apartment. Well supplied with everything we needed for the month. Immaculately clean. We were super impressed with this. The garden in the back was a daily play area for the children, we also sat out there on occasion enjoying the peace. The Location We had considered staying closer to the Royal Mile and we are quite glad that we changed our mind and stayed here instead. It was nice to get away from the noise and other tourists at the end of the day. There are multiple bus stops in walking distance, including one across the street which goes to Prince Street. We also used the Leith walking trail almost daily. Usually taking the bus downtown and walking home. It is a beautiful walk along the river if you go into Leith. Lots of grocery stores, pubs and restaurants nearby. Deanna has excellent suggestions. We recommend staying here. It is a beautiful apartment in a convenient location with kind, friendly, helpful hosts.

Deanna's place was very spacious and comfortable. It is near Leith, which has a lot of great pubs and about 15-20 mins by bus to the city centre.

I am the mother of Martha who loves dancing, Abba & role play. We rent our next door apartment out on Airbnb when friends and family are not using it; as we love meeting new people, doing house swaps and travelling (especially the eating part of travelling).

I work in the Speciality Food Industry in Sales and am very into granola baking, jam and chutney making, eating out, gardening, foraging, walking, cycling and getting out and about.

I can give you all my top tips to enjoy Edinburgh as I have lived here since 1995!
