Check In
  • Pere's place is fabulous. His whole family was extremely helpful, and the bottle of wine was a nice touch. Pere helped with discounts on board rentals, lift passes & even restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend this spot! (Vallnord had some fo the best riding I've ever experienced)

  • We had a lovely time in Pere's flat and really appreciated the personal touch. As he read my blog (website hidden) before our arrival, he then left a muffin dish and tonic for our G&T which was perfect.

Thank you very very much for everything

  • Very quiet place to have an excellent rest after skiing! Good connection with Vallnord ski resorts through the freebuses, which have range of movement about 20 minutes and the bus station located in 1 min walking from the apartment. Apartment so good to provide very comfortable rest, all nessesary goods are present in the house. But the most important advantage of staying in this place is host. It could be extremely hard to find another so good host like Pere! We met some curious and not only problems during our skiing and Pere was attracted in all of them. He provide to us all needed advices, information and was able to spend his own time to solve our own problems together with us. Thank you Pere very much from all our team! We will definetly stay here if we come back to Andorra again.

  • Very good accommodation. We had a great stay. I can recommend this apartment to everyone.

  • Our family of 4 stayed in this apartment for two nights in October. Androrra is a wonderful country and this apartment is very well located. Small communities are all around, and great hiking and views are easily accessible from here. Pere was very communicative, and our overall stay was very nice. The apartment is very clean, and has all of the basic necessities that anyone would need to stay there for a short or long visit. Beds were comfortable, and the living room was cozy. The only negative in our stay was that the upstairs neighbors had a party on the second night and were very loud until 1AM. If not for that, it would have been a perfect stay. We drove up to the end of the road and hiked to alpine lakes and had a nice dinner in Ordino. Pere knows how to take care of his guests, and the welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch. Please consider staying here if you are looking to visit Andorra.

  • Pere's apartment itself is really nice. Very comfortable living room and dining room, 2 comfortable bedrooms, a huge very nice bathroom with a wonderful shower and the washing machine is in there. The kitchen was nice and well supplied but it is really for one person, more than that and the kitchen is very awkward and too crowded.
Our arrival at the apartment was marred because we did not know that the Ordino in the address of the apartment is the PROVINCE of Ordino, not the town, so our GPS took us to Ordino the town where of course there was also a Carrer la Callissa. Yes, Pere states in his description that the apartment is in Arans, but for someone who does not know a thing about the area, it is confusing to state both Arans and Ordino in the address. We spent an anxious time in Ordino trying to figure things out. Thankfully there was a park nearby in Ordino with free wifi where we tried calling Pere from our computer but we did not get an answer. We tried calling his father three times for help but he couldn't hear us very well. When we finally did figure things out on our own, no one was there to meet us at the apartment, so we had to use a pay phone that was thankfully nearby to call Pere's father and he then came right away.

Wireless internet is provided for the apartment yes, but only for 2 computers. We were a family of 3 and each of us had our own computer so it was disappointing to learn one person could not use their computer.

The arrival confusion and internet aside, the thing we disliked most about the apartment - and this may have more to do with the month we stayed in it than anything else - is that we could not keep the windows open because there are two chicken pens by the apartment - one beside it and one behind it. The smell from the chickens was bad at times, but the worst thing were the flies. We stayed in the apartment in mid-August and the weather was VERY hot and we so wanted to keep the windows open for fresh air and for the view but we learned VERY quickly that if we did, the apartment would be full of flies. Fortunately there were blinds that we could close so we could keep the windows open and a little bit of air could come in through the holes in the blinds and that helped a little. There is no air conditioning and there are no fans in the apartment.
We imagine that the chicken smell and the flies are not an issue during the months when it is cold and the windows stay closed.

Pere was quick to respond during the booking process and he does have a very nice apartment. August just may not be the best month to stay there.

  • Pere's apartment in Arans could not have been in a better location for our interests. We never had the chance to meet Pere directly, but he kept in touch with us all the time to make sure our visit went well . . . and it did! His apartment is in a village centered on The Iron Trail. We hiked a good portion of the trail and learned a lot about the history of Andorra and Pere's heritage. We would love to return to ski the area, but during the month of August, we settled for riding a ski lift to a fantastic panoramic view of the Pyrenees from a peak in a Vallnord ski area outside Pal.
Ordino is a beautiful town! Be sure to take advantage of the super people at the TI there for information about your interests.

  • Pere was a communicative host before and during our stay, although we never met. Coming to Andorra was like a sanctuary for us. His mother lived nearby and was outside the block when we arrived, so had no trouble checking in. My tiny bit of Spanish and her friendly manner enabled us to understand each other pretty well. The apartment was very clean, plenty of space for the two of us, very private, and the bed very comfortable. There is a good sized 2nd bedroom...we didn't need to use it of course, plenty of wardrobe space, ironing facilities....all we needed. We appreciated having a washing machine and made good use of it. The kitchen was clean, compact and basic, with most essential items available, including a new regular sized oven. The location, away from the main hubbub of the city centre, was so relaxing and a balm after a hot, long drive from Spain. We totally loved Andorra and Pere's apartment which felt like home. A welcoming bottle of wine and some fresh flowers were a beautiful personal touch and much appreciated. I would be happy to stay there again or to recommend this charming place.

  • Though Pere wasn't there himself, he was promptly answered questions from his vacation. His parents also live just next door and were really lovely and helpful.
We had an amazing time trying out some of the hiking trails, exploring the "Iron Walk" along the river and the scenic flower hike up in Sorteny and also enjoyed hanging out in the really nice and clean and freshly renovated apartment. Everything there you need.
Just depending on the wind direction, sometimes you get a whiff of country air, but that's what comes along with the countryside.
All in all, an absolutely wonderful time, thanks Pere!
