A treasure of Italian architecture. The only work by the famous architect Carlo Mollino remained perfectly intact on the territory. A suspended spaceship, surrounded by vast meadows and entirely overlooking Lake Maggiore. A magnificent construction, built in 1953 by a brilliant mind, renowned worldwide and featured on the cover of The World of Interiors magazine. From today I open the doors of this house, to share with friends from everywhere the pleasure of a memorable stay.

The space
This large villa is the perfect combination of peace of mind, transmitted by the surrounding area, and strong emotions, handed down by the brilliant mind of a unique architect of its kind.
Casa K2 is the maximum expression of a concept that is very present in the works of Carlo Mollino: the union of modern forms and construction techniques with the traditional nature of the materials used. Every detail, both internal and external, has been designed and created by the architect. The villa today offers its guests an authentic style, preserved over the years and finally made livable for lovers of architecture, design, nature holidays, Lake Maggiore. The house, until now open to visits by observers from all over the world, has 11 bed places, divided into 6 bedrooms, with 3 bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a large patio, terraces and an immense surrounding private lawn. Pets are welcome. A covered parking space and open-air dining areas are also available.

Guest access
The domestic equipment is full and refined from the smallest detail. It includes sheets, towels, shower gel and soap. Free internet access via WIFI is completely available.
Each item has been carefully chosen and each room has been organised for maximum comfort in any circumstance.

Lake Maggiore is considered as one of the most interesting tourist areas in Italy.
In this wonderful area, enchanting landscapes, uncontaminated nature and historical beauties develop. Among the many beauties, these are these unmissable destinations.
Maccagno is one of the most renowned tourist centers of the Verbano area. From here you can enjoy a unique view, the cultural offer is varied and of high level, the town is well taken care of and the local gastronomic tradition is excellent. In the historic center, the Imperial Tower and the Sanctuary of the Madonnina della Punta must be seen, which overlooks the lake.
A little further south of Maccagno, after passing Gaggio and Colmegna, is Luino. Luino is a fantastic tourist center, as well as the main city of the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore. The town has always been a lively meeting place for intellectuals and artists: Hemingway and Dario Fo have been here for example. The most fascinating place in the city is certainly the pretty lakeside that houses churches and large buildings, such as the Serpelloni and the Verbania palace.
Going further south you come to the town of Germignaga, which has a lot to offer visitors, both in terms of landscape and nature, and in terms of culture. Worth seeing is certainly the ancient Parish Church of San Giovanni, in the cemetery, originally from 1100, and the Church of San Rocco, in Baroque style. It is, however, above all the picturesque town center that offers the possibility of a relaxing walk.
