Newly renovated lakefront apartment, downstairs from the main home. It is located on beautiful Greene Mountain Lake with year-round lake and mountain views. Wildlife on the lake includes geese, herons, ducks, osprey, eagles, turtles, and beavers. The setting is serene and peaceful. You will have a private entrance and a covered porch. A paddle boat is available for your use on the lake.

This unit has been approved with a Special Use Permit for Tourist Lodging by Greene County.

The space
This is a large living space with a private bedroom, a kitchen area, a living room and a dining/game area. There are views of the lake from these rooms. The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and sink. There is no stove, but a hot plate and electric skillet are available. I am a retired grandmother of four. Happily married for over 50 years. We live in Ruckersville, Virginia and have been in this area about 25 years. We both grew up in California. I retired from the University of Virginia, where I worked in IT at the School of Medicine and the McIntire School of Commerce. I play the harp for a hobby and have played harp for Hospice in this area. I love to ride a road bike and my husband and I love to take our Hobie pedal kayaks out in the water to fish and enjoy the beauty. Our four grandkids are a joy and blessing. My husband has his own non-profit to raise funds for Christians around the world. He is still working part-time, and also enjoys writing.
