Pazolle'e is located in Waecicu Bay on 4300 m2 private grounds. It is a magical place for nature lovers, located on a quiet beach with a coral reef just in front.

Pazolle'e means 'clean' in Bajo language. Wae Cicu means 'clean water' in the Manggarai language. It’s true. The water in our bay is crystal clear.

At night when the moon lights up the trees, the bay and surrounding islands, and when you hear the sounds of the Gecko and night birds, you sense the magic of Waecicu Bay.

The space
BUNGALOW:
Our bungalow has a large studio floor plan. The sleeping and living area and the kitchen are connected, a comfortable distance apart, in one open and roomy space. This space connects to a closed and large en-suite bathroom. The king-size four-poster bed is equipped with a luxurious mosquito-net. The bungalow has its own private veranda with lounge chairs, dining table for two and space for yoga.

Our bungalow is entirely air-condition free. It is kept cool by the ocean breeze, a large hanging fan and an additional standing fan which you can move on to the veranda during the day.

FACILITIES:
It is important to note that Pazolle’e is self-catering. The bungalow kitchen is well-equipped for home cooking. Before you take the boat from Labuan Bajo to Pazolle'e your driver can help you make a stop at the supermarket for shopping. In case you need to stock up during the rest of your stay you can take a boat to town, or the staff at Pazolle’e can take care of your shopping for fresh fruits, vegetables and fish from the local market. They are also talented with the BBQ and will gladly prepare your fish for you, Indonesian style.

For those who like to dine out there are two restaurants within walking distance: Restaurant Eden Beach Inn and Plataran on the Rocks. Both restaurants provide the option for take-away. Restaurant Eden Beach Inn provides home delivery at a small extra cost.

Pazolle’e does not have WiFi. Waecicu bay is still off the beaten track and internet cables have not yet been installed in the area. For connection to the internet, we recommend you to purchase a local SIM card and use your personal hotspot. This can be done, for example, at the airport (outside, after baggage pick-up) or at the harbor. Let us know if you want help so we can arrange this for you. An internet package of 35GB costs approximately €12,- / $13,-. Lower or higher internet packages are also available.

OUR STORY:
Pazolle'e is situated on 70 meters sandy beachfront on Waecicu Beach. For building material, we used palm wood native to the surrounding area, the stones from our own land and Alang Alang for our roof, which has been modeled after traditional Flores houses. Our furniture is made of driftwood which we found on beaches at outlying island or washed ashore at Waecicu. The bungalow is a perfect fit in its natural surroundings -.the almost empty beach, the Flores Sea and the lush hills behind - this is the ultimate island getaway.

NEED EXTRA ROOM?:
We have space for 12 more persons in the villa and bungalow #2, if available and at additional cost. Both are listed separately on Airbnb.

Guest access

Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE:
- Our rooms are not air-conditioned. All have a good mosquito net and a fan. The bungalow is cool with high grass roofs.
- For internet we have mobile phones which we rent out and you can use them as hotspot. This works fine, you can connect to that phone with your laptop or phone. And then when the phone credit is finished you can just top it up in the internet shop in town. When there is heavy overcast or rain the signal might be disturbed due to atmospheric circumstances.
