About this listing
Spacious, beautiful and quirky, our apartment has a gorgeous view over the Courtyard and garden of La Maison Verte; you'll be sharing the shady garden, cool pool, and the numerous comfy sitting areas with a few other guests.
This is a large and comfy apartment; a first floor conversion of a stable block with a massive living room which has plenty of space for dining, lounging or - if you choose - sleeping (one of our sofas is a studio couch which folds out to hold two comfortably). Our shower room is brand new. Bedroom 1 is a double with a good view of the garden; bedroom 2 is a quirky barn space with a bed the size of a carpark(!) and also a mezzanine sleeping area for person 5, unless that person fancies the bed in the lounge. The kitchen newly refurbished (though you'll find no Ikea units here!) and has everything you need. And there's a washing machine in the boiler room.
Interaction with Guests
We live here all the time and are always on had to give help and advice if you need it. However, you can have as much privacy as you choose - we'll be led by you.
Roujan is a little hub of activity - and we're in the heart of it (though once you're inside the environs of La Maison Verte - you'd never know it). It's half way between the mountains of the national park, and the sea. You can walk to the shops, cycle to lakes or drive to the beach in no time.
There are buses from Roujan to Beziers and Pezenas, but you will most benefit from the local sites if you bring a car with you.
Other Things to Note
The apartment is on the first floor of the stable block.
This is the place where we live - we want you to feel at home... so treat it like you would your own; with care!
Please don't smoke in the apartment (there are ashtrays in the garden).
We don't allow pets.
I'm English but I've lived in France for 9 years. We are musicians and sing and conduct and run music courses. We like museums and galleries and old houses to visit - and my daughter loves swimming and climbing! We also love visitors and thrive on sharing our beautiful home with travelers.
