We stayed for two months in this incredible garden apartment and were absolutely happy with it. Liz was just wonderful and helped us a lot. She even organised a babysitter who adored our boys and they loved her too. The apartment is large and the garden in spring a dream. All the equipment such as the dishwasher and fridge is new. There was enough place to put a spare matress in the master bedroom so the boys could sleep in our room. Brooklyn is especially nice and kidfriendly and we mostly went to visit the tourist things in Manhattan and then came back and enjoyed the familiar atmosphere in Brooklyn. Our stay was just great and I can highly recommend liz’ and Peter’s place !
This apartment is beautiful - it's rare for the pictures to live up to the actual experience but it does here.
You're right in the heart of the East Village and yet in the apartment there's no noise form the outside.
We were here to find our feet when moving to NY and Liz actually helped us find our next apartment. She even invited us out to a couple of events to help us settle in.
Thanks Liz, really appreciate everything.
We enjoyed our stay in this spacious comfortable Brooklyn apartment. Our host Liz was warm and welcoming. She provided a list of local places to eat and shop for groceries which we found very helpful. The location is great, only a couple of minutes walk to Bergen street on the F line and plenty of good restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops nearby in Smith and Court streets. Some interesting clothes shops too. Brooklyn was also great for our family group which included a 2 year old. Manhatten took longer to get to but most journeys were a half hour or so depending on how far uptown you wanted to go. The street could be noisey at night. We found the apartment hot when it got into the 30s and room air conditioning not so effective as it was noisey compared to the split systems we are used to. The small terrace overlooking the garden was a bonus. Happy to recommend this for a family visiting NYC.
Great place and a great host! Thx!!
We stayed for a week as a large family group in two apartments for my daughter's wedding at the Green Building. The whole experience was excellent, Liz made us extremely welcome and could not have been more helpful, the apartments are spacious and very comfortable - it was truly home from home for our time in Brooklyn. The location is perfect for a great selection of good bars, restaurants, shops and Brooklyn highlights including the Brooklyn Bridge and promenade. Could not recommend more highly.
Incredible townhouse. Was great to see a different side of New York and Brooklyn. The appartment is simply huge and impeccable plus there is a garden which we had no expectation of getting in New York. Liz provides a really handy guide to all the best restaurants, cafes and bars in the area which is really handy. You are a little bit away from Williamsburg but we didn't mind and jumped in cabs in the evening. By far the best experience I've had with AirBnB and I've had many good experiences! Highly recommended and would love to stay again.
the apt was gorgeous and perfectly located and liz was wonderful to communicate with. would def stay here again! thanks liz!
Well equipped, comfortable and meticulously clean on our arrival. The apartment is in a lively neighbourhood, two blocks from easy access to Manhattan by subway.
