Getaway to our redesigned aircraft hangar adjacent to the Smoky mountains and on our personal flower farm! Terminal 1344, is a 2 bedroom open loft space! We worked to maintain the original character, keeping it modern yet cozy with warm mid-century decor + open floor layout!
We are conveniently located 30 miles to Knoxville & Great Smoky Mountains National Park. McGhee Tyson Airport is just 10 miles away!

The space
This space boasts an open floor plan with 15 foot ceilings and plush and cozy king and queen size bedrooms. There is a large closet and bathroom space for getting ready. Our open kitchen features every appliance and bar tool you could need to make a meal or prepare cocktails with your guests. Perfect space to entertain or hang out as a family!
Feel free to settle in to the sofas and enjoy your favorite Netflix/Amazon
shows. Or go outside and enjoy the amazing views of the Smoky Mountains, across our own flower fields and onto the private airstrip that is adjacent to our property. From time to time you will actually see our neighboring pilots practicing with their aircraft.
Feel free to explore our 6 acres of property including a pond, fire pit, outdoor pavilion and our professional flower fields where you will see the team cutting fresh flowers daily! Interested in learning more about our flower farm? Just ask! We LOVE to give tours!

There is an outdoor pavilion with a BBQ, picnic tables and comfortable places to sit. We also have a tranquil fish pond and bonfire pit located in the center of the property for all of our guests to enjoy. Make s'mores or just relax and listen to the gurgling water and enjoy the fish.
During the spring and summer months, enjoy our flower farm, Rainbow Roots Floral, which is always abundant with seasonal flowers including dahlias, sunflowers, peonies, zinnias, ranunculus, tulips and other varieties of color. Most days you will see Adrienne (+team) working in the flowers! Don't hesitate to ask her about the flower farm, she LOVES to share her love of flowers with all her guests!
We offer flowers for sale seasonally at our farm stand if you would like to take some flowers home with you! We can't wait to show you our little slice of heaven!
The property is completely hidden from all streets and the surrounding neighbors by our bamboo forests. It is a wonderful venue for those who desire privacy.

Vehicle access is clearly marked and very easy to navigate straight to the hangar. Just follow the gravel road at the end of the culdusac all the way to the first left and then turn into the property at the 1344 address post. Follow the drive all the way up and around to the rear of our main house. Feel free to pull right into the designated parking area for Terminal 1344.
We are McGee Tyson Airport close (10 miles) and just 30 to 45 minutes to Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Anakeesta and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Adrienne & Dean worked like mad scientists to take an empty, rusting train car, an airplane hangar and a 35 year old camper trailer and turn them into the magnificent spaces that they are today! The designs they have conjured up have been highlighted on ABC, NBC and CBS news affiliates, Discovery Channel's Design Network and websites like NBC's Today Show, The Travel Channel, TikTok and YouTube with over 10 million views in all! They have created these inviting spots to share with you!
When not talking to guests you can find Adrienne tending the flowers in her beautiful gardens. She will also happily share the love of their 5 friendly doggies with you!
Tayler is a commercial and portrait photographer based in New York City and East Tennessee. She was half of the mother daughter design collaboration on picking colors and textures for our luxurious spaces. She is also a self taught artist and enjoys painting portraits of other people's pooches. When she is in Tennessee you'll likely see her photographing our dogs.
Dean is your on site host. He calls himself the Vice President of guest relations and will most likely be your contact with the furry greeting crew in tow when you arrive. He works as a manager for Costco when not at home and loves to tend to guests in the train, hangar and camper and talk about the interesting history of the spaces.
