Stay in your own private home which was recently remodeled and is located one block from Lake Phalen. The home has a full kitchen which is fully stocked. Breakfast and light snacks are included with your stay. The cushioned chairs and the loveseat have covers which are washed between each guest. The large patio located between the homes is a great place to relax and listen to the fountain or enjoy a meal.

The space
The small home has been remodeled to optimize its 550 square feet. The home contains a full kitchen, 3/4 bath, queen bed and 2 single air mattresses are available for additional guests. During the spring, summer and fall, enjoy one of two patios on the property. The fireplace can be used from late fall to early spring and air conditioning is available when needed which is usually late spring to early fall. Since the home is small we recommend that two adults or two adults with two children would stay in the home, four adults would likely find that the space is not large enough to comfortably accommodate their group.

Quite neighborhood located 10 minutes from downtown St. Paul, 20 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. One block from and overlooking Lake Phalen Regional park that boasts miles of walking and bike trails. 2 blocks from the Gateway trail which stretches to Stillwater and 4 blocks from the Vento trail that will take you to Downtown St. Paul or the Maplewood Mall.

Kevin and Kim have been married for 25 years and have lived at the property for 18 years. The little house was formerly used as a cabin when Maplewood was a vacation destination from Minneapolis during the 1920s.

A previous owner brought the structure from the lake and placed it adjacent to the main home. We recently finished remodeling the little house and hope you will enjoy your stay.

There is a park adjacent to the lake along with a path around the lake and the Bruce Vento and Gateway trails are accessible from the home. The park also has a public golf course and the Keller Golf course is nearby.
