We are mostly sorry to learn about the disappointment of our guests and
certainly sorry if we even are considered dishonest. We believe the
description of the apartment, of the available facilities, of the location
(including a map showing clearly that we are very close to Taksim Square),
etc. is all there and true, and as regards the laundry issue in particular,
it is clearly outlined that this service is shared and located in the
building across. Washer and dryer, hot tub, etc. are not listed among the
available amenities of the apartment.
In the end, the washing (87 pieces!) was all taken care of and at no extra
charge as all personnel refused to take any payment for it from the guests.
We also would like to point out the fact that we had been in contact before
the arrival and, should there have been special requirements, they could
have been placed then. Furthermore, we were quite shocked when reading this
review as guests seemed to be satisfied and happy at the time of leaving.
In fact, most of our guests, as per the other available comments, had a
pleasant stay and did not complain about any of the above.
Last but not least, we are sorry to say that towels and other things went
missing from the apartment... and Airbnb team is informed and on the case
as this event shall be taken further.
We trust we never lied about anything and that we did all our best to have
the guests enjoying their stay. Turks are well known for their hospitality
but trying to make someone happy who is about to give you a hard time in
the first place is very challenging.
