Yurt dwelling is indescribably peaceful. Our property is 150 acres total, off the last end-state maintenance road in the county, though just a 20 minute drive off interstate 81, or to the quaint town of Floyd, or the Virginia Tech area. This one is a 24' yurt, beautifully modern with a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom and steam-sauna shower, TV and wi-fi, and comfortable sleeping and hangout spaces- surrounded by 150 acres of streams, trails and natural beauty. Dogs welcome!

My life is rounded in every way! Blue Ridge Yurts is owned and operated by my family; my mother is 70 and makes all the wooden components herself! I deliver and erect yurts, and as well operate a superfoods juice business, Revolution Juice, out of a 16' yurt in downtown Floyd, Virginia. I'm the (retired) co-founder of FloydFest, and am in process of building a shipping container house with my carpenter boyfriend, Spencer. I have two grown(ish) children, Chloe and Tristan, and believe wholeheartedly in creating and living a life you love- whatever that looks like. I love being able to share this beautiful space in the Blue Ridge Mountains on Airbnb. Yurts *can* be primitive- but these are not. They're totally pimped out, and make for a beautiful, relaxed getaway with all the modern amenities. In total the property can house up to 12 people- great potential for a family reunion!
