  • This place is absolutely enchanting! It was my parents first time in Europe and I wanted them to have a very authentic experience in Granada. I had heard all about the caves and decided to give it a shot. I have to say this was one of many highlights during their time here. The cave was clean, cozy and decorated perfectly. The location is ideal. Just a short 10 min walk to Plaza Nueva and its the very street with all of the Flamenco caves. Blanca was very sweet and helpful. Her friend Mary, who was also just as friendly and helpful, met us to help with parking our rental car and show us to the house. I would definitely stay there again!

    A déconseiller l'hiver absolument !!!!

  • It's a good choice because of the price is lower than the others. But I would say there are some problem.
The inner cave is chilly cold even we turned the heater on; the washing machine is not working properly; things are not so clean; the worst is the wall painting (the white powder) keep dropping, so we are so worrying if it will fall into our mouths when we fall asleep… and if it will fall into the milk when we have breakfast.
The place looks closed to alhambra from the map but they are on different mountains, so it takes almost 50 minutes in the morning to go to the ticket office.

  • Very original house in an authentic neibourhood far from touristy area. Happy to have had this experience of living in a cave, but would not stay for very more than 2 nights and would not recommend for older people as there are going to be a lot of walking involved (it's all hills and car does not have access everywhere). It was fine for us though and we really enjoyed experiencing and observing how local people live in Granada. Thank you for hospitality!!!

  • Blanca was great to work with in making arrangements to stay in the cave house. Due to a miscommunication that was my fault, she wasn't expecting us when we arrived, yet went out of her way to have a friend come over to give us the keys and let us in. She was also responded to questions really quickly. The cave house itself is a really interesting place to stay an a unique experience. It was cold when we visited Granada and the front of the house stayed quite cool, but the back rooms warmed up quickly and stayed warm. It's also located in a cool part of town with fantastic views of the Alhambra from just steps away.

  • Our family enjoyed the uniqueness of the cave apartment. It was spacious and everything worked. We did have a problem with the drainage and as a result an odor in the bathrooms. The ceiling above the bed has constant little pieces that fall and we kept cleaning up. The host was very friendly and met us on time to pick up oiur keys.
