About this listing
This spacious apartment in the heart of Vinohrady is newly renovated and originally designed for the use of the owner's daughter. It is filled with Olga's latest artwork, which uses the one-of-a-kind Czech patented machine Art Protes to sew felt in a rainbow of colors onto a fabric background.
The building is in one of the best residential neighborhoods in Prague within a 20 minute walk of Wenceslaus Square. Public transportation options are plentiful. Two metro stations, Jiriho z Podebrad or Flora are a 5 minute walk in either direction. A number of tram lines also run a block or two in either direction.
The apartment is fully furnished in modern style with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, espresso maker, ironing board with iron, hairdryer, TV + WiFi. All dishes, cooking utensils, towels, and bed linen are provided. It has one full bedroom with a large double bed and a pull-out-couch in the living room for friends or family members. A small balcony looks out onto the garden courtyard. The apartment is part of a three story building built well over 100 years ago and is in a part of Prague with a historical designation.
Great shopping is nearby. A large, modern shopping Mall contains upscale shops, and some excellent cafes and restaurants. There is a small grocery store just next door, as well as large supermarkets close by. From the windows, you have views in both directions - onto the small city park across the street and onto the courtyard garden. Despite the central location, the many large parks and gardens in the area make this into a cool, secluded green haven.
Also nearby are fitness centers and a public swimming pool, park with outdoor exercise equipment and tennis courts. In short, there is something for everyone here, from art lover, to history buff to fitness freak. Olga is a wonderful hostess and will do her best to make your stay a pleasant one.
I am an artist with a beautiful apartment building in Vinohrady, a 15 minute walk to Wenceslaus Square and a five minute walk to Jiriho z Podebrad metro station.
