This beautiful, comfortable, tastefully furnished cabin is right on the slopes of Tamarack Ski Resort, and is true ski-in and ski-out. Our place has all you will need for a great vacation; a luxurious memory foam bed, beautiful furniture throughout, a gas fireplace, well-furnished kitchen, 42" TV with DVD and TV viewing that includes Sling TV and Netflix, high speed wireless internet, private hot tub, and a deck right on the slopes. There are books to read, DVDs to watch, and music for the Bose radio/CD. On one side are views of the mountain and its slopes, while off in the distance on the other side are views of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area. A short walk to the Osprey Lodge gives you access to the outdoor swimming pool in the summer, as well as its workout room, steam room, spa, and a restaurant and bar. That same short walk will also take you to the Osprey Meadows Golf Course.
The cabin has a downstairs master bedroom with a king size memory foam bed and private bath with a soaker tub, while the upstairs bedroom has two twin beds, plus a full-size futon couch and it's own bathroom, as well as a walk-in closet giving you plenty of storage space. The deck has great views, with a gas grill and your own private hot tub overlooking the slopes.
Tamarack Resort is your gateway to adventure. The resort has won multiple accolades, including Ski magazine's Best of the Blues, as well as a ranking of #3 in the nation for its cross-country skiing by USA Today. The Robert Trent Jones' designed golf course was awarded America's Best New Public Golf Course by Golf Digest for 2006. With prices for a round of golf ranging from $37 to $62 (cart included), it is affordable, as well. For bikers and hikers, Tamarack has 30 miles of IMBA-designed trails that cross open meadows and forested slopes, and begin adjacent to the cabin. For the adrenalin-rush seeker, there is an on-mountain zip line covering 4,475 feet with a 1,700 vertical drop.

Tamarack is one of Idaho's treasures, with great golfing, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, biking, hiking, boating, and nature viewing. Beautifully designed, the resort has an ambience that immediately brings a sense of relaxation and being a part of nature. With a hiking/biking trail right next to the cottage, you can be off exploring and playing in no time. Plus, you can literally step off the deck and be on the slopes. The resort has won multiple awards and accolades including Ski magazine's Best of the Blues, Rookie of the Year for the West Bliss run, an article in the New York Post entitled, 'Five Slopes You Have Never Skied (But Probably Should)', an article in USA Today entitled 'Ten Great Places to Pursue Your Halfpipe Dreams', as well as a ranking of #3 in the nation for its cross-country skiing by USA Today. Additionally, its Robert Trent Jones' designed golf course was awarded the nation's best new course in the December 2007 edition of Men's Journal, and America's Best New Public Golf Course by Golf Digest for 2006. With prices for a round of golf ranging from $39 to $62 (cart included), it is affordable, as well. More Summer fun is available on Tamarack's IMBA-designed trails. There are 30 miles of trails across open meadows and down forested slopes. Plus a big zip line tour is available on mountain. More adventure is available on the nearby Payette River with world-famous Class IV runs for the experts, and more family-friendly rapids ranging from Class I floats to Class III rapids. And after the day's fun is at an end, the Spa in the Osprey Lodge is available, as well as delicious meals in Morels Restaurant.
NOTE: At this time, their is a legal battle going on between the two entities that own the golf course, spa, fitness center and pool. Until further notice, those places, as well as Morels Restaurant are not open. We are hopeful that this will change, but it is unknown when.
Other Things to Note
There is always a minimum stay of at least two nights. FROM JUNE 27 to SEPTEMBER 7, there is a THREE night minimum, as well as a three night minimum for all 3 day holidays, and over Thanksgiving. There is a four night minimum from December 19 to January 2.
Well-behaved pets are allowed, though there is a $25 fee. The rules: No smoking. Be respectful of the property. Have fun.
