We are 6 miles west of I-25 and 3 miles east of the 8-mile-long Horsetooth Reservoir with rental boats and jetskis. In all of our travels we have yet to see a more picturesque lake outside of a National Park.

I had a wonderful stay in Fort Collins with Susan and Paul. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. If I ever am in Fort Collins again and need a place to stay I would definitely stay here again.
Paul and Susan have a lovely home. We arrived late, around 11 p.m. because our flight got delayed by more than an hour. Paul was very nice and waited for us till we arrived. The room was lovely, very clean and comfy. The bathroom was very clean too. We were leaving very early the next morning, so Paul showed us the kitchen where we could eat breakfast. They had a very nice bread, toaster, fruit, yogurt.
You'll feel more at home at Paul and Susan's home than in your own home. My beloved and I took an early morning walk on the hiking trails that begin across the street. Being an airbnb host as well, this was my first experience as a guest. I felt treated like a family member! A concern of people who rent private rooms in homes might be uncertainty about the interaction between guest and host. But here, you define the level of interaction, and they suit your comfort level with such grace and pleasantness. Super comfortable bed. The room is situated upstairs where you feel it's your own space. It's so close to town and nature at the same time. We plan to return during the holidays. Moving my parents from Arizona to Fort Collins was made much smoother because of our stay with the Linds. We felt refreshed after the night's stay and recovered from the road trip. The Linds make me feel so proud to be part of the airbnb as a host and now as a traveler. We are truly a traveling community which if we want, can form lasting connections that add much more meaning to our travels. Do send friends and family members here, sight unseen. You simply will not find a greater quality place at a very affordable price. Because I did my research beforehand. They were so gracious about our spontaneous and last-minute reservation needed, and responded immediately. Their reviews alone show you that the common thread in them is it is all about who is hosting. It's a real treat when you get to meet hosts because sometimes you don't. They had breakfast china laid out and food ready the morning we checked out. They are also airbnb travelers and so they know the golden rule. These are people you want to keep in touch with after leaving.
This was the first time using Airbnb and it was a great experience. The accommodations were perfect for me and my 8 year old grandson; comfortable, clean and just as advertised. Susan was so nice and made our stay easy. She had no problem with my grandson's inquisitiveness; you know how kids can be, and I was grateful for her patience with him. Being a teacher helps in many situations! Susan set out a wonderful breakfast for us, had no problem with the unexpected need to put our bicycles on her porch and left the light on for our late night returns. She even helped us carry our many bags to the car. That's something you'd never get at a regular hotel stay!
Thank you Susan!
We enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of Susan and Paul. The room and other accommodations were great. The place is close to everything we wanted to do and the area is beautiful.
Susan certainly has the gift of hospitality. Paul was not home during my stay. Their home was very warm and welcoming. I enjoyed a 4 mile hike on the path behind their home. Would highly recommend anyone to stay there. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast along with lots of engaging conversations. Thank you for a memorable time!

We always enjoy meeting and hosting new people. After having such good experiences for 2 years staying at Air BnBs we started hosting early in 2012. We serve a continental breakfast each morning for stays of less than a week. We do not provide breakfast for longer stays at the reduced weekly and monthly rates.
Fort Collins has scenic hiking trails (one starting 1/2 a block from our front door) and an 8 mile long reservoir with rental boats and jet skis. We are 1 hour from the Denver airport. The city library is 1/2 mile.
