Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Just outside the town of Kelseyville sits Finca Castelero; a 25-acre property consisting of a pear orchard, vineyard, vegetable garden, barn and three bunkhouses. The farm is the perfect retreat for anyone looking to relax and spend time outdoors. While the bunkhouses are standalone bedrooms, you will have access to a stocked kitchen, dining room, living room and two bathrooms just steps away.

We invite you to get off the grid and enjoy your stay at our Northern California working farm.

The space
You will be staying in our second bunk house, La Vina. Inside is a queen size bed and seating area. It has direct access to the barn, apartment (with kitchen) shared bathrooms and a beautiful view of the vineyard and mountain. This room has AC and we provide a heater in the cooler months.

There are many outdoor spaces on the property to enjoy. If you would like to use the gas barbecue grill while visiting just let us know in advance so we can be sure to have propane on hand.

We are a working farm so there will be agricultural-based activity and noises while you are here. We are mindful not to make noise before 8am and after 8PM.

Guest access
As mentioned, we live on the property so there may be moments we cross paths in the garden, barn or other outdoor areas. There is also a chance that there will be people renting the other bunkhouses and you will therefore share the apartment.

Other things to note
WiFi extends to La Vina but can be slow. If you need stronger access during your stay, let us know and we can find you the best spot!

We are just a five-minute drive from downtown Kelseyville where you will find tasting rooms, a brewery, restaurants, a coffee shop and antique stores. Clear Lake, California’s largest lake, is an eight-minute drive down the road and is the perfect place to share a picnic and go for a dip. There are also countless wineries, hikes, bike paths and more just minutes from the farm. There is a State Park close by for hiking and lake access as well as Blue Lake, which is about 25 minutes away. It's great for swimming and you paddleboard, kayak or rent an electric boat.
