Magnificent 2 bedrooms apartment just back the Spanish Steps and two stones from the famous Via Veneto, the "Dolce Vita" street.
Two large and spacious bedrooms, two fully furnished bathrooms, a big and completely equipped kitchen, a dining area, a very comfortable living room, a beautiful and lovely terrace: this elegant and bright apartment comes with everything for a pleasant stay in Rome.
Walking distance from most of the attraction spots of Eternal City and few steps to the Spanish Steps, and the Villa Borghese with its terrific Galleria d'Arte, the Pincio Terrace with its overlooking terrace, the Villa Medici and its beautiful gardens.
The neighboorhood is also renowned for the fashion boutiques, the fine restaurants and the theaters.
You will forget even the idea to take a bus or a taxi. You'll just need to open your frontdoor and start exploring all that Rome can offer to lovers of art and beauty.

The host housekeeper didn't really provide much information except not to leave on any wireless devices when not using. When asked her help set up a transfer service to the train station for when we departed and she said she would and that we would get an email to confirm arrangements. Never happened. I called the housekeeper and she said I held up my part by calling and that the pick service she come. We never received any confirmation could not take the change that a service was coming. So we dragged our luggage down the street to get a cab. The apt itself and location was pretty good. The power to the apt went off a couple time until we figure out that you can't heat up water and run a hair dryer at the same time. Again great location and great apt.
A wonderful place to stay for the first timer in Rome. Perfectly located, spacious, clean and nicely furnished. Internet worked fine for us and was fast (noticed previous reviewers said that had problems with it - seems this has been resolved). Two bedrooms are big and separated by loads of living space. One has an en suite bathroom, the other is close to the main bathroom. Stephanie, the person who greeted us at the flat was lovely and had good tips to share.
Only issue was the scarcity of hot water - there was a hot water switch which we turned on well in advance of showering but still, the hot water only lasted 3-4 mins.
Emiliano and Maria Luisa were great hosts. Communication regarding arrival and departure were great. Can't say enough positive things about hosts. The apartment, though, is another story. Positives - location was good and air conditioning worked great. Negatives - the apartment is in disrepair. First, we had no internet for the first 3 days of our week-long stay. Owner stopped by but couldn't fix it and never contacted us again. Emiliano came to our rescue with a "web pocket" that worked out well for the rest of our stay. It only rained one morning during our stay, which was a good thing. When it rains, it also rains in the dining room. Owner told us (when she had stopped by) that the people upstairs were renovating and had no windows, hence, the water comes in. The toilet runs constantly, and when we asked the owner about it (once again the one time she stopped in), she told us to jiggle the flusher on the wall and it will stop eventually. Unfortunately, she said she can't fix it since they would have to take all of the tile down to do so. The small bathroom only had hot water for about 2 minutes (in the morning) at a time. The large bathroom had an ample water supply for all of us up until the last two days. No hot water at all in the large bathroom. We did not report this to the hosts since we did not want to inconvenience ourselves with staying at the apartment waiting for a repair person on our vacation. We were able to shower at my brother's apartment down the street. Finally, you are expected to take your own trash out. This is fine but the dumpster was a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Not my idea of convenient! Needless to say, I would never stay here again!!
This apartment is great. Really, it's all about the location. Right above the Spanish steps, you are in the middle of everything. Maria Luisa and Emiliano were very receptive and always available. I wouldn't call it "enchanting" but the place is clean, comfortable and big enough for our family of 4. I would highly recommend this place.
The appartment was excellent!!! everything we expected and more! the location is great just 2 min walk from the Spanish Steps! Emiliano was very helpfull from the first minute of our contact upto the last day that we left, responded to all our requests and was ready to fulfill all our inquiries! even prepared a basket of fruit and biscuits to welcome us!! Rome is always beautifull and charming and this has made our experience even more interesting, living in a 17 century apptm right in the middle of the historic centre!!
Location is absolutely fantastic. Apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. Best part of the City and I know Rome. Thank you so much for making our stay fantastic. Much appreciated. Emiliano even arranged a lovely driver Vincenzo to take us to the airport for a great price since I was not sure how to "call" a taxi. Thank you Emiliano!
