I recently cancelled two bookings for May 2014 because I need to renew the apt but don't worry about bookings for the rest of the year they will be fine and the apartment will be in better shape from June 2014
The apartment now has new beds after some very bad comments about the old ones. I rent it so I can't totally renovate which means the place looks old and worn. But I do my best to make up for this, I have a great cleaning lady now, I leave some small details to make your understand that I am making an effort. But this apartment is about
LOCATION. Location LOCATION it's the very centre of the city
I am the owner of a tour company Angel Tours in Dublin as well as two tour groups in Rome, so my reputation is very real
ECO ACTIVE. We recycle your rubbish and use energy efficient heaters etc in these apartments and we are supplied by a wind energy farm
VERY CENTRE OF DUBLIN CITY
2 min walk to Temple Bar
PARKING. (Let me know if u need it)
CLEAN N WARM
EXCELLENT WELCOME AND SUPPORT
Apartment name "8doors"
LOCATION LOCATION. This is the very centre of Dublin
when you arrive you will find
It is really just 2 min from Temple bar, and 30 seconds from The Penny Bridge.
You will find many of the basic essentials to get you started, toilet paper, shampoo etc....
My home is beautiful, its warm and cosy. I live in it from time to time so its feels like a home away from home. You will feel very comfortable here, its best for families or some one who wants to take a total break in Dublin for a few weeks or weekend.
The bedroom has the two single beds which can be transformed to a double bed, the living room has a sofa bed and a large sofa which is great to sleep on.
I do want you to know that this street is the very centre of Dublin so expect noise from 8am to 6pm and on Friday and Saturday you will here stupid drunken Irish in full swing lol
But I have done a lot to cut down on noise, the windows are doubled up.
2 single beds can become a double when joined together.
In the living room I have a sofa bed and a large comfortable sofa.
1 bedroom with nice light and with a small heater, and a DVD/tv
The shower is old but works fine and there is a lot of hot water for a nice bath.
Cleaning and drying
I have a good working washing machine, dryer
the dryer works if you dont overload it
the kitchen is fully equiped
I have central heating but also have small electric heaters, and an electric flame effect fire.
Please please respect the cleaning lady and try to leave my home tidy enough within reason. Take off the sheets when leaving and place them in the laundry basket
Internet is fast and reliable
there is a bar across the street but I have got some very bad feedback recently so maybe its best not to go there, but the area is full of good trendy bar.
thanks Sean T
I leave the key with the spar on the corner if I'm not there
Please return the key there
They are so good to me the staff in the spar
It's open everyday til
And opens at 630am
I try to be there
But I always have someone around in case you need anything
This is the centre of Dublin. You won't need any transport
Wifi password is on Inside of the wifi modem
Please leave keys In spar
The pub close by the lotts has had some bad reviews recently

The location of Sean's apartment is TOTALLY ideal for exploring Dublin. While it's a bit rough around the edges (weird paint patches on the wall, a bit dingy, and weak water pressure in the shower), the apartment's proximity to all of Dublin's top sites almost makes up for it. It can be a bit noisy outside, but as I live in Chicago, I'm used to hearing noise outside my window. Nothing too loud, though. Overall, Sean is very responsive and willing to provide suggestions in and around Dublin. One word of advice: make sure you have Sean's number handy before arriving. We arranged to pick up the keys to the apartment at the corner store, but none of the keys waiting there worked. Since my phone did not work in Ireland, the woman at the store was kind enough to let me use her phone to contact Sean. Sean was so quick to respond and met me at the apartment within minutes to provide a spare key. We definitely enjoyed our stay in Dublin, and Sean's apartment and its proximity to everything in the city definitely helped make a huge impression.
+ = Localisation très bonne, en plein centre de DUBLIN.
- = Appartement bruyant la nuit
Eau bouillante dans la douche et impossible à régler
Lit d'appoint du salon en très mauvais état
Everything was OK! Sean is very nice and helpful!
Location is super! Flat is nice and warm.
We're upset when we saw a lot of black mold on the wall in the bedroom+ part of bedclothes wasn't fresh.

Our stay at Sean's place was great. The description of the listing is accurate as are the pictures! If you expect pure luxury: don't choose this listing but if you are a budget minded traveler that doesn't care for sitting inside all day it's a great pick. One downside: water pressure in the shower isn't great.
- it's really just few minutes of walk to many bars, clubs or center;
- the kitchen had everything what we needed for cooking;
- the owner responded quickly by e-mail, but was unrespond by phone.
- the area is really noisy and you don't feel safe coming back home late: drunk peeing people next to your door, "junkies" doing their thing;
- in appartment actually it's hard to feel "home" spirit. It had a really weird smell and could feel humidity everywhere;
- bathroom was scary to use and looked not hygienic;
- in bed you could feel every spring on your body.
This apartment I would offer to people who are planning to party and need just a place where to sleep and keep their stuff just few minutes away from the party places.
Fantastic location, great price. The appartment is not great, i wouldn't bring my family there. Good enough as a crashpad, even if the beds really need to be changed. They are well beyond their expiration date.
No. Go somewhere else.
Not clean. Not for families or anyone else who wants to stay sober for more than two consecutive hours. Hair and grease everywhere, you can see that the dirt has been there for more than just a couple of days. Accordingly you should not use the kitchen and its equipment if you did not sterilize it before.
Sean promised to refund the cleaning fee, but I have not heard of him since.
The double bed consists of two single beds. One is bad, you feel the springs. The other might have been a bed once - your doctor might suggest you to sleep on the floor instead.
I did not sleep on the sofas but I imagine that anyone who is taller than 1.60m cannot do so, either.
Sean did give good hints what to do in Dublin, though.
