Cozy 2nd Floor Condo in a quiet, convenient neighborhood!
15-20 Minutes to Historical Downtown Charleston.
2 miles from Isle of Palms Beach.
2 miles from Towne Centre (Outdoor Mall)
Target, Restaurants, Shops, and Park within walking distance.
This is a nice condo with stainless appliances and hardwood flooring. We have a full size futon available with a brand new 6" coil mattress. WiFi (sorry, no TV), full kitchen and bathroom, and small screened in porch with seating.
This is a shared space, so not too much privacy. We also have 2 well mannered cats, and keep a clean home. For those with mobility issues, please note that we are on the 2nd floor.
A light, self-serve breakfast is complimentary. The offerings vary at any given time, but typically include: bagels & fruit. There is a drip coffee maker and both regular & decaf coffee are available, as well as assorted tea bags.
As a guest, you'll have access to our fitness center, laundry facility, and large pool with poolside WiFi & 3 large community propane grills.
There is also a business center with 2 desktop PCs, WiFi, and a printer.
Parking is free, abundant, and non-assigned.
Interaction with Guests
My wife and I are home most of the time, so there may be a some interaction, but we can give you plenty of space.
Our neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The people are friendly and the town has a lot to offer. We are just outside of Charleston - consistently voted in the top travel destinations. Lots of attractions, history, etc.
There are jogging trails adjacent to the property, and restaurants & shopping within walking distance.
Route 40 is the only way to get from Mt Pleasant into downtown Charleston, and it comes by approximately every 40 minutes.
The nearest bus stop is a mile & a half away, and will get you downtown in roughly 35 minutes.
The fare is $1.75 each way. (If you're 55+, you'll receive a 50% discount.) Bills and coins are accepted, but exact change is needed (they will not make change). You can also purchase one day ($6) or three day ($12) unlimited passes on board.
There is no regular bus service to the beach, so a taxi, personal vehicle, or bicycle is required.
Taxi service is under $10 each way to & from the beach, and usually around $20-25 each way to & from downtown Charleston.
To take full advantage of what the Charleston area has to offer you really need a car. My recommendation for a rental company would be Enterprise as the best option. They will also pick you up and drop you off, if need be.
Enterprise has locations here in town, downtown, and at the airport. The weekends are much cheaper for car rentals. You can often get a small car Friday through Monday for between $10-25/day depending on the time of year. During the week it's typically between $25-35/day.

Other Things to Note
Though I do not require guests to fully complete the new verification system, I prefer that you have a verified e-mail, phone number, profile photo, and a couple sentences describing yourself.
*There is no indoor smoking, and at this time we are unable to host pets.
*Late or early hours are not a problem, we can use a lock box and/or provide a key, if necessary.
*You're welcome to do a little laundry, but if you have more than 2 loads I'd prefer you visit the on-site laundry facility.
* The kitchen is available for a light self-serve breakfast. Help yourself to any of the fruit or bagels available. You can also use the kitchen to prepare lunch or a light dinner
Great stay! Fantastic location. Lots of cute shops and food within walking distance and two beaches within minutes. Although it is shared space in the living area I felt like I was on my own, which was perfect. The hosts were very nice and welcoming! They had great towels, toiletries, fruit, coffee and bagels available. The sweet kitties were a plus for me! This was a fantastic first experience with airbnb.
Thanks Noel and Kristen for letting me stay a few nights at your place! It was very clean which I definitely appreciated. Great spot to stay overall and close to a lot of restaurants/shopping. Thanks for also accommodating my kayak! I'm sure that's not a usual request : )
I had an excellent experience with Noel and Kristen. The condo was everything as stated in the ad. My host went out of their way to make my stay very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in the Charleston area.
Mt. Pleasant was a 2/3 waypoint for me on my trip from NYC to West Palm Beach.
I decided to spend half a day in Charleston so when I arrived to Noel's place it was past dark.
Noel's spot is extremely clean and it filled with amenities as if I walked in the Hilton room.
Free Wi-Fi, Bananas and bagels in the fridge, set of towels toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant ... everything one can need!
There was also an air purifier in the living room - this place is top notch!
I slept like a baby on Noel's futon.
Firm and comfortable
I had a chance to chat shortly with Noel, and he was a definition of a big hearted guy with highest hospitality skills!
Impeccable stay, so if you need a place to crash while exploring historical Charleston (20 mins drive) book with Noel before Hilton hears about him and hires him to manage a chain for them :)
Thanks Noel and Kristen. It was amazing experience. Beautiful neighborhood with all amenities just around the corner. Nice and very clean apartment. Kristen is just "crazy" about keeping everything clean. You will not find a single dust particle in any spot of the apartment even if you wish. All instructions were given before arrival just like in a spy movie: come to this door, open this box, enter this number, etc. It was fun to follow instructions before we approached the treasures hidden in tropical forest (the balcony opens just into the beautiful nature park with birds and trees). It was a lot of joy to smoke outside (yes, I am a smoker and owners took me as is). Free wi-fi and charging station helped us to refresh gadgets and share with friends and family tons of pictures on FB. The Classic American (free in this case) breakfast with bagels and coffee helped us to get ready before the long walks around town. Thank you again!
I had a great experience. Noel was quite accommodating. Everything was exactly as advertised and it was clean, quiet, and comfortable.
We had a short stay with Kristen and Noel. Everything was just so, and very clean. They were very accommodating and friendly. The cat's were cute and polite.

Feel free to click on "Contact Host" if you have any specific questions or comments. But enough about me.. More importantly, what about the area, and what can you expect with me as your host?
Charleston is not the place you visit if you plan on simply hanging out in the hotel all day. It's a place of exploration, adventure, and leisure. We are happy to provide a place for you to sleep, refresh, and recharge between those activities, and at a significant discount from a typical hotel stay.
Our approach could probably be described as the blending of a hotel and a hostel experience. My wife spent several years working in the hospitality industry, and we both have experience with planning & hosting events. We can provide restaurant suggestions, info on tourist destinations, and answer questions about the area.
We'll do our best to accommodate your needs, so please speak up if you have any special requirements, questions, or concerns.
Thanks, and we look forward to hosting you!
