The Space

The house sits right next to the oldest standing house in San Francisco, our house is about the same age, with its quirks and weird architectural design. It might not be fancy but has a lot of character and charm.

There is a toilet/sink room and a separate shower room with a bath tube, a large kitchen and a smoking area in the back.

Guest Access

We have access to a nice rooftop where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Potrero Hills and Twin Peaks, also a few musical instruments that you are welcome to use.

Interaction with Guests

You will be sharing the house with me, my wife Maria our roommate Koko and maybe other Airbnb guest. We all have our own private rooms and stay busy during the day but we are welcome to help you with directions or recommendations during your stay in the city

Koko is a Filipino Student and an amazing sushi chef.

Maria is a dog walker and once in awhile will bring a dog into the house overnight.

We also have a 10lb dog named Mico that is pretty chill and quiet. The pets never leave our room.

We are all very sociable and respectful, we might get a chance to talk during dinner and have a chat but we are also very mindful about your privacy and will not be bothering you during your visit.

The Neighborhood

Its locations is just one block away from all the fun of 24th st. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, galleries, markets and street art around.

The Mission is the District with most fun in San Francisco, there are plenty of restaurants, galleries, coffee shops, bars and clubs to visit. Lots of parks too: Potrero Del Sol park, Garfield Square and Precita Park are just a short walk away.

Getting Around

Transportation is very easy, the BART is a few blocks down, several Muni lines stop around the house and the airport is 15 minutes drive. Downtown is 10 biking.

Other Things to Note

We all love music in the house and would like to have musicians or music sensitive people visiting.

This place would be ideal for friends or couples traveling on a low budget. There is a double (full) bed in the room and a chair bed (Ikea Lycksele) that you can use for an extra guest. (No more than 3 people)

The place is not a fancy honeymoon chateau by any means but a place where you can really experience what is like to live in San Francisco.

There is no private parking in this building, only street parking.
San Francisco has one of highest real state prices in the country (or world) which makes private parkings a luxury that not too many residents enjoy.

If you are bringing a car into the city (not recommended unless you are doing road trips outside) please plan ahead and be aware that traffic, driving directions and parking in the city might be a hustle, specially if you are not familiar with local traffic and parking rules.

You can leave your car parked for free on most streets around the house, but please read the times and cleaning days restrictions to avoid citations.

The city enjoys one of the most pure tap waters in the county. It comes from pristine reservoirs in Yosemite National Park and it has been proven cleaner than many plastic bottled water you find in stores.
We encourage visitors to enjoy water straight from our taps and avoid buying bottled water, this will help keeping the city and state landfills clean.
