Eilean Sionnach, Isle of Skye, is situated on a private island. The cottage can accommodate up to eight people in four king/double bedrooms. The whole island is yours to explore, offering the magical experience of the Isle of Skye you've always dreamed of.

Arrive by boat or on foot, to your very own little haven of tranquillity, where you can slow down, watch the waves, the wildlife and simply just ‘be’ in a place so peaceful you'll find it hard to leave.

The space
All the little details are attended to. With four double bedrooms, the cottage is well-appointed and tastefully decorated, with fixtures and fittings of the very highest quality, creating an ideal retreat for discerning friends, couples or families.

Every room is stylishly decorated and every bedroom has a delux en suite bathroom. A characterful living room and dining room are where you can relax and eat when you're ready to come in from the great outdoors and our well-equipped kitchen has stunning views back to Isle Ornsay.

Linger on the hill watching for wildlife, walk along the rugged shoreline, fill your pockets with beachcombing finds. Paint, relax, be mindful. Get out on the sea or even in or under it! However you spend your time here, you'll find yourself stopping often to admire the views in every direction.

You'll realise you've discovered a place like nowhere else - a truly unique place on Skye - a place with a sense of peace and seclusion that's hard to find elsewhere.

But, just across the shore a traditional Highland pub awaits when you’re ready to reconnect with the outside world, or feel like dining out.

So we invite you to come, share in this special place, and discover what you’ve been missing.

Where you’ll be

Isleornsay, Scotland, United Kingdom

You might be greeted by rough water. You might be greeted by still water. But once safely ashore, watch the seas rise and fall about you as the cottage holds you tight and the fire burns warm in the hearth. Sit down with a dram of whisky or a good book; listen to the music of the waves; experience the wildness and beauty of this place where you can enjoy the ‘little things’ in life.
Skye is a place of magic and wonder and home to some of Scotland's most iconic landscapes. You’ll be captivated by its charm and in awe of its epic mountain ranges and dramatic coastline. Enjoy scenic views from the island itself and in every direction you travel.
With loads to do both in the local area and also on the island, you'll have plenty to keep you entertained - whatever the weather on Skye. Our dark skies are ideal for star gazers and wildlife watchers are sure not to be disappointed by the abundance of sea and land creatures.
The Eilean Iarmain hotel and Am Praban pub by the pier are your closest places to eat but there are several other highly respected restaurants within a few miles of Isle Ornsay, including The Duisdale Hotel, Kinloch Lodge and Toravaig Hotel.
