Better Pricing For Longer Stays (3 weeks or more), Monthly Available. FYI: If your stay is longer than 2 weeks but shorter than a month and adds up to more than the monthly rate on average, I will give you the monthly rate for your stay. This means a special offer, I don't have a way to do that automatically. This also applies to stays longer than one month. You may pay for 2 months for your 6 week stay, but that will be less than paying for 6 weeks, etc. Stays longer than 1 month must be negotiated in advance.

You can always stay shorter than the minimum stay (1 weekend, etc). The fee for the minimum stay still applies.

Just remind me to send you the special offer and I will calculate it based on your stay.

I am a busy professional offering a fully furnished bedroom in my 2 Bedroom 1 Bath luxury apartment in the heart of Charles Village Baltimore. Central AC, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Hardwood floors. The apartment is very close to JHU, shopping and restaurants in a great neighborhood (see my Guidebook!). The apartment is fully furnished including cooking utensils, laundry goods, etc. I even have a few toiletries for guests.

Some extra things available and waiting for you when you arrive:
-Steam Iron
-Wash Cloths

Other amenities include, TV (currently no cable connection) with DVD player, NetFlix, wireless Internet.

Public transit is nearby (1 Block) as well as the JHU Shuttle (3 Blocks). My place is only a few blocks north of Penn Station where you can arrive or leave by train or bus such as MegaBus or BoltBus.

The Awesome Apartment is only steps from a grocery store and multiple restaurants and coffee shops.

I am quiet at home and tend to keep to myself late at night but I am always open to talking about the city, offering neighborhood advice etc. I like to cook, keep things clean, I (email hidden), but my party days are behind me.

Quiet, house-trained Dogs considered on a case-by-case basis. Sorry no cats. Nothing personal, I just don't like the litter smell and I like my linens in one piece ;)

I'm looking forward to meeting you!

  • This was my first time using airbnb. I had to go to Medstar Union Memorial Hospital everyday for my work. It was a 7 minute walk and the area was very safe. The Hopkins campus is close by and their are many campus police cars all around.
The street parallel to North Calvert street where Brett's aptmnt is situated, called St. Paul's street, is filled with places to eat (Chipotle, Subway open 24/7, some Chinese places, a bar, and a cafe) and supermarkets (Eddie's Supermarket. and one small mini market that is open 24/7). St.Paul's street gets a lot of traffic from Hopkins students. There is even a hair cutter on St. Paul's and I cut my hair there.
The room was great. It had a desk, a spacious closet, and a spacious dresser. I had no problem unpacking all my clothes and things for the entire month. Brett would usually be out of the house and I would usually be out most of the day. But when he wasn't he would be very courteous and answer all my questions and was generally chill and cool. I would spend some of my free time watching series on netflix on Brett's tv.
So all in all, I would recommend this aptmnt. It's in a safe neighborhood and for my purposes of it being close to Union Memorial Hospital it was great.

  • Hey all! Absolutely loved my 6 weeks experience in Baltimore. The Charles Village neighbourghood is friendly, clean, safe, filled with nice little spots to go for lunch or dinner and right next to the campus, museum of art, taxi and bus stops. I took the free Hopkins bus every morning to go to work in the downtown area and the bus stop is literally 2min walk away from the doorstep.
The awesome apartment is quite awesome, and has everything you would require with wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, etc. The kitchen is great if you like to cook, the rooms are big and fully furnished and the bathroom is clean. Of note, there is also a very nice balcony at the back. The pictures of the apartment are representative of the actual place: it is awesome.
Brett is a very kind host and helped me with directions and basic questions about the area, which is always nice when visiting a new city.
I would recommend this place to anyone either visiting for a few days or working in Baltimore for a few weeks. The location is great and safe, the apartment has everything you would wish for and it's only a 5-10 min taxi ride away from downtown.
    Have a nice trip!

  • Brett was a great host! He was available, when I arrived and showed me around his lovely apartment and was very helpful whenever I had any questions.

The wifi/internet at his place was very fast and worked great. His place is nicely located right next to Charles village, with many nice restaurants and coffee shops right next door -- which I greatly appreciated during my stay. I also appreciated the availability of a washing machine and dryer during my stay, to clean my clothes. The bed I slept in was very comfortable.

    Overall, a great experience!

  • As all the other guests says, the stay at Awesome Room in Awesome Apartment was just really awesome! Brett has been a very cooperative host and easy to get along with. The room had good lighting, was very spacious and warm. The kitchen is filled with spices and makes you feel you want to cook. If I had a chance, I would have loved to extend my stay here!

  • Brett was a fantastic host. I needed accommodation during a month I spent working at the University of Maryland Medical Center, found Brett's apartment on airbnb, got in touch, and the rest is history. The apartment was exactly as described, conveniently located just minutes by foot from plenty of amenities. Brett was the perfect host, providing super-quick responses and making the logistics simple and seamless, attentive without being in any way intrusive--even throughout my several-week stay. I highly recommended both the apartment and Brett.

  • The place lives up to the expectations. Charming, furnished with taste. The neighborhood is one of the best in town, close to public transports and to the JHH shuttle. Brett is an easygoing guy that really wants to make your stay enjoyable. Highly recommended.

  • Brett's apt is on the 3rd floor, in an ideally-located building in the Charles Village district. The room itself is rather spacious, well-lit and located next to the shared bathroom. Brett was a considerate host. I stayed with him an entire month, and he kept his apt clean and tidy. It is a great place for short or long-term stays. And if you like to cook, you're in luck because he has numerous spices and cookware (I suspect that he is an excellent cook, just based off his cooking supplies). There are numerous restaurants nearby, a grocery store, and the Johns Hopkins shuttle stop is within a very short walking distance. I'm very selective and was very glad and relieved that this worked out well for me, considering the duration of my stay.
