Where you’ll be

Tunnerstad, Jönköpings län, Sweden

Within walking distance there is a bathing area in Lake Vättern, a temperate outdoor pool and a consumer shop. There is also a nice selection of restaurants on the island. Bicycles can be rented on the island and with these you can reach the whole island on pleasant day trips.
We have three children aged 5-12 and toys and climbing trees are on the property. Cot can be borrowed.
Kumla y church with its decapitated church tower is worth a visit. If you can climb the tower, spectacular views of the entire island await.

Down in the south lies the remains of Sweden's oldest royal city, including Magnus Ladullock had his seat.

In the harbour are the remains of Per Brahes Borg. In August each year there are visingsö tournaments.

Beaches are located all around the island and if you want to find your own beach, this is no problem. Among the most beautiful beaches can be mentioned sand cape (north), old harbour, Tunnerstad pier and nose pier.

Restaurants on the island sometimes organise themed evenings such as barbecue evenings, shrimp freezing and dancing in the park.
