Trastevere (close to Monteverde area) was a working-class neighbourhood of Rome in the past and has become in the time place of traditions, arts and typical roman food (see Restaurants in Rome Trastevere in the relevant section ). The charm of this location of Rome can be barely described and corresponds to the rates of accommodations and holiday apartments available in the whole district. The alleys are full of shops, restaurants often with tables outside in the street, bars and stalls with every genre of products. The main square (Santa Maria in Trastevere) is usually full of street - artists and hosts one of the most beautiful churches of Rome we really suggest to visit: Santa Maria in Trastevere.

This apartment was very nice and right near the train and bus stations in Trastevere. This made it very easy to get around the city. Daniele's uncle was there to greet us when we arrived, and he was very nice. The apartment was clean, and had plenty of room for the 5 of us that stayed there.
Overall we had a pleasant stay here. Communication with the host was very clear and quick. We were able to find and get to the place with no trouble at all. We were greeted warmly and given what we needed for our stay. Beds were comfortable and amenities were provided.
The only issue we ran into was that the showers got cold quickly (usually within a couple minutes) and wouldn't heat up again for awhile (especially when two sources of water were being use simultaneously).
Other than that we had a good stay. It was nice being in an Italian home and made our trip in Rome feel more authentic.
Nice apartment, near from the train station and tram as well. Daniele's aunt has received us well and given some hints on how to get tram tickets and where to find good places to eat.
It was all good! Although I haven't met Daniele, his aunt was nice! She provide to us all we need, the apartment was clean, organized, all working... Anyway.. I have nothing to complain! Thanks Daniele..
Th apartment was a good size for the four of us, with the option of someone also being able to sleep on a foldout in the hallway. Daniele was very prompt and helpful in answering questions, and his aunty was very accommodating showing us the apartment. We probably would have just liked to be told the floor number to ring before arriving. The kitchen had everything we needed and beds were very comfy with plenty of blankets and pillows. Trastevere is a great local neighbourhood and it's such a lovely walk through the cobbled streets to get to the centre of Rome. It was fantastic value, would definitely recommend staying here.
The apartment was as advertised but did not seem quite as nice as I expected. It was a great value for the cost though. I would recommend staying here if you're not looking for a place that's very extravagant but gets you a lot for your money.
The apartment was convenient for our family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers).
There are two double bedrooms and a large bathroom with tub. A small kitchen with space to sit and what you need to fix breakfast and light Italian dishes.
There are both refrigerator, freezer and gas cooker plus a small extra oven where you can warm bread or pizza slices.
The apartment was clean and looks just like the pictures.
Daniele's aunt opened and showed us all when we arrived. The apartment is close to Trastevere Train Station, but we were not at all disturbed by the trains in the evenings and nights. However, it was a big plus when we were going back and forth to the center of Rome / Vatican. Most of the time we took tram 8.
However, Testacchio is so close you can absolutely walk there.
We are satisfied with the accommodation. Not fancy but just what you need.
