Sweeping river views in prime location with restaurants, cafes below. Renovated 2 bedroom with kitchen, bathroom and great balcony.
Despite being in Australia, Frank's organisation and communication was beyond reproach. The collection and dropping off of keys was easily achieved, and Frank responded immediately to any queries or questions. I left things behind in his apartment, which I needed to recover too, and Frank was very helpful and patient in helping me accomplish this.
The apartment itself is huge: tastefully decorated, has a fitted kitchen, and could easily accommodate four people. The best bit is the spacious balcony area which is perfect to watch the Phnom Penh'ers on the riverside exercising, playing games and performing Tai Chi moves at sunset and sunrise.
The location is perfect for nightlife, restaurants and within walking distance to many attractions such as the Royal Palace. And further afield attractions are easy to access due the number of tuk tuks and motorcycle drivers. Although, I would strongly recommend using Thon for your trips, Frank's friendly tuktuk driver-friend, as he speaks excellent English and is courteous, kind and honest.
My family and I spent one month at Frank's apartment and we would highly recommend a stay. It is a great place to come back to after the heat of the street and chill. The balcony provides the perfect opportunity to observe and absorb the constant flow of Phnom Penh life by the river. It is located within a heartbeat of a wide variety of restaurants where you can dine on numerous range of cuisines, relax and if need be accumulate information and knowledge of the city. Although Frank was not in Cambodia during our stay we felt he was always nearby and extremely helpful when it came to answering any questions we had to pose, this was greatly appreciated. We would like to thank Frank for the pleasant and delightful experience of our stay in Phnom Penh.
great, we could have stayed forever on the balcony watching people and the river.
the place is great!
We stayed at Francis' apartment for 2 weeks, just after the water festival. The place is very spacious and beautiful. We particularly liked the terrace: so nice for happy hour and long evenings chatting. The kitchen is functional if you don't always want to eat out and the apartment is well maintained. The location is perfect (so many restaurants, museums, spas, movie theaters close by). The were minor things that needed to be fixed (hot water or wifi), but Francis was always incredibly helpful and responsive. We've been traveling for 4 months now in SE Asia, and this apartment was our 10th AirBnB experience. We know by now that the contact with the host is everything and Francis was definitely a great one. Francis' tuktuk driver, Thon, was also incredibly nice and helpful. It was, overall, a really nice stay in Phnom Penh.
This place is great. It is spacious and very well located. We were there during the Water Festival and had VIP seats on our private balcony every night. Frank is a communicative and accommodating host. His tuk tuk driver, Thon, was helpful, too.
El apartamento está situado en la mejor zona de Phnom Penh, junto al río; está muy bien comunicado, excelentemente amueblado y los atardeceres desde la terraza son maravillosos. Gracias por todo FRANCIS!!

I am Scottish born and live in Australia and Cambodia. I am very involved with training and education in developing nations, most especially with young disabled. This apartment was a labour of love as we renovated a slum building with broken rooms, no water or electricity into this beautiful icon while retaining and enhancing all its original architecture. We wanted others to see it is necessary to preserve and not knock down the character buildings.
