About this listing
Our inviting home has the look and feel of San Francisco. Hardwood floors and original molding are among the small touches that give it the classic feel that tells city dwellers they're home. Blocks from the Castro MUNI, you can walk most anywhere.
Classic San Francisco top floor flat with stunning views of the city, San Francisco Bay, and the Berkeley Hills. 5 rooms include a living room, office, eat-in kitchen, and two bedrooms. A small back landing with great views and a shared yard are great when the weather's fine. Four blocks from Castro and Market, which boasts the historic Castro theater, numerous great restaurants and bars, and multiple MUNI lines making all of the city very accessible. Or stay in the Castro!
Dolores Park and the Mission are both walking distance from the apartment as are Hayes Valley and the Lower Haight.
We often walk to Kite Hill or Corona Heights, both within 10 minutes, for jaw-dropping views of the city and the bay.
We offer free wi-fi, cable tv with all of the movie channels, and a washer/ dryer. Parking is plentiful within a block (Please see house rules for parking advice. Don't get a ticket!). There is one bathroom to share with us.
Other Things to Note
We have a short-haired dog, Boston Terrier- Chihuahua mix.
Guests will share our kitchen, living room, and bathroom with us. Smoking is only permitted outside, either in the yard or on the landing, which provides a nice view. We are calm and easygoing people. Parking is difficult in San Francisco. If you bring a car, you might want to leave your car as you go around the city. Our block is a high traffic block and drivers drive too fast, so its better to park above us near Danvers Street. There is street cleaning from 12-2 on Fridays so you must move your car to the other side of the street on this day. Across the street, street cleaning is Wednesday from 12-2. Also, you must curb your tires as we are on a hill. This means that you must turn your wheels so that the car would roll towards the curb rather than the street were it's brakes to fail. Failure to do so is a ticketable offense. Please feel free to comment and help us improve the stay for yourself and others.
