This off-grid log cabin was custom built by my husband. You will enjoy this home as the perfect vacation hideaway nestled in the Magundy River valley with a view of mountains to the south. This cabin sits on 10 acres of trees, mountains and a river. There is a short hiking trail to the nearby river, excellent for wildlife and bird viewing.
This cabin is well built, even in Winter time it’s very cozy, after enjoying snow shoeing, ice fishing or watching Northern lights!

The space
We are in a wooded area, around 800 m from the highway and 300 m from the Magundy River. There is a fire-pit and gazebo to use.

Other things to note
We offer home baked goods, bike rental and a canoe rental. In Winter you could use our snow shoes to explore!
The cabin will be heated before arrival in Winter time!
You have to heat water for the shower!
Outhouse!
Fresh lettuce from the garden!

Michael and myself immigrated 1996 to the Yukon from Germany with our 2 kids. We’re both hard workers and love the outdoors, like hunting, fishing etc. We got our property 1997 and started building our first log home. In 2000 we built the guest-cabin, it was supposed to be for our daughter, but she decided to go to a bigger city to find a good job. Now Mike is semi-retired and we decided to rent out the guest cabin for people who also love the outdoors.
