- A unique place for Peace of mind…
This little summerhouse is strikingly beautiful, situated directly at the sea in the small secluded village called Munkerup just outside the fashionable Hornbæk (one hour from centre of Copenhagen). The old fisherman style house with thatched roof has been respectfully restored with high quality materials and accordingly tastefully decorated in suiting Danish simplicity. It is surrounded by a garden granting a high level of privacy. The summerhouse is situated high above the sea on top of a slope of wild roses leading directly (by the steep staircase) down to the private beach.
The lower beach is sandy and very good for kids because of the shallow water.
The house is 100 m2 in two floors. The first floor contains a master bedroom with a double bed and additionally two small bedrooms – one with a double bed, the other with twin beds. The master bedroom and the room with a double bed are both with a balcony, which invites you for a breathtaking view of the sea and the Swedish coastline.
The ground floor has a spacious living-dining room combined with a cosy wood burner. From here you also enjoy the stunning view over the ocean. There are two double terrace doors – one facing the sea, the other facing the eastern terrace. The little, but well furnished kitchen faces the ocean, and contains fridge, freezer, dish washer, stove w. Induction hob, microwave and normally used kitchen appliances. The romantic and quite big bathroom is well arranged with a shower, washbasin, and cabinets for towels, washing machine/dryer and a towel heater. Also plenty of space for changing babies, if needed.
The toilet is next to the bathroom in a separate room.
There is a little annex next to the house with one big bed and a small desk. (Only for use during summer as it is without heating and electricity)

Soren was an excellent host. His place was perfect; small, but efficient and very clean...ideal location. When we return to Copenhagen, we will definitely stay there again.
I spent nearly 3 (email hidden)'s place and couldn't have been more pleased with my stay. The location of the apartment really is the best location one could ask for in Copenhagen, in close proximity to public transport, shopping, tourist spots, the water, everything. Still, it's a remarkably peaceful neighborhood. The apartment itself is cozy but efficiently designed, with a beautiful bathroom, a handy kitchen (dishwasher, stove, fridge, etc.), TV, wifi and so forth. I would highly recommend the flat for both tourists and, like me, visitors staying for extended job placements.
Søren was a pleasure to interact with--a real pro with guests. He was always easy to contact, responded immediately when I accidentally locked myself out, made sure the place was clean for my arrival and really treated me like a guest in his own home. Thanks for a great stay, Søren!
This is a superb location! We particularly loved having such easy access to Nyhavn. We even got used to climbing the stairs! It is a very small space, but it is clean and well maintained and the bathroom is great. Soren was very responsive to our questions. Thank you, Soren.
We stayed 3 weeks in Soren's apartment and we had a wonderful time. The train and bus were just around the corner when needed and Nyhavn was a 5 minute walk around the corner, we also had the great opportunity to watch the sand sculptures being made. The kitchen was equipped for simple meals and the only downside would be the the pull out couch. We did have 2 hiccups during our stay but as soon as they were brought to Soren's attention they were dealt with very promptly. Thank you for everything and I would recommend Soren's home to anyone.
I had an absolutely fantastic time staying in this apartment! The apartment is very clean, and everything is very new. The bathroom is large, with a wonderful shower. The kitchen is my favorite - everything is amazingly efficient with top of the line appliances. It has everything you could possibly need - stovetop, oven/microwave, refrigerator and a dishwasher! The bedroom I stayed in is very cozy, and the WiFi is reliable and a great added bonus.
I stayed for three months, and can say with confidence that the location of this apartment truly is the best in Copenhagen. It is about a five minute walk from a metro/bus station, amazing shopping and incredible restaurants.
Soren (email hidden) - incredibly gracious and accommodating. He is very responsive and will make sure that you have everything you need while staying in his apartment.
I highly recommend this apartment, and it's wonderful host, Soren!!
I (email hidden)'s apartment for three months. Everything worked really well. Søren (email hidden) and the apartment was in a really good place close to city center and there were good public transport connections to the place. The kitchen and bathroom were newly renovated and in a good condition. I enjoyed my stay and I would recommend the place for everyone!
Our stay could not have been better! The apartment was as described, but even better. Everything was very clean. The appliances are new. As realtors say: location, location, location! We walked to everything we wanted to see in Copenhagen. A parking spot is a huge benefit if you have/need a car. The kitchen is very small, but functional, with all we needed to make some of our meals in the apartment. Having WiFi was very helpful. The apartment is an amazing example of efficient use of space. The bathroom is actually quite large, extremely well lite, and the shower supberb. Towels, beds and bedding all fresh and clean. Okay, the best part of this rental experience was Soren. He replied promptly to all e-mails, answering all questions. And, when we arrived at his apartment, he was very helpful, making us feel very welcome. This was one of the very best vacation rental experiences we have had, and we have been enjoying vacation rentals throughout the world for many years.

My wife and I stayed in this well-situated apartment for 3 nights. Søren was on holiday so we were looked after by his friend Henrick. The key exchange worked fine and Henrick was even kind enough to give us a lift to the airport when we left. The apartment is newly rennovated and has a small but fully functional and well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is great with a good shower. Now the negatives: the apartment is very small and once the (fairly uncomfortable) sofa bed is unfolded there is no space in the bed/living room. As it is difficult to put away we only half-folded it up during the day so that we could move around. Internet access is by way of a USB dongle; fine for a NoteBook PC but useless for mobile devices. The entire apartment block is undergoing refurbishment and is surrounded by scafolding; we knew this when we accepted, however the level of disturbance (starting at 7AM) and mess was off-putting. It is likley that this rennovation will be completed soon and so will cease to be a problem. A tip for those that stay: stock up with food and grog at a deli and take a picnic down to the tables by the side of the canal in the evening, just 20 m down the street. Highly recommended!
Amazing location, just 2 minutes from the metro and within walking distance to the city.. Nyhavn also close by. The place is very small, but comfortable for 2. Big bathroom with great shower, well equipped kitchen. If you want to (email hidden) at home? Helped us out with an additional room to store our bags as there wasn't much room on site.
