We had a lovely stay at Victoria's place and only wished we had a bit longer! Victoria was prompt to communicate and we were able to meet her in person when we first arrived to the apartment. She gave some excellent recommendations on places in town to eat and drink and how best …

Response from Victoria:
Thank you Kasey for booking our apartment. My sincere apologies for not having been around when you were in London. I urgently had to travel to Uganda to stay with my mother who has been unwell since the untimely death of my brother in March 2015. I had hoped to be back sooner before your reservation but, alas, it was not to be! With no internet access and an erratic mobile phone network, I had to depend on my neighbour friend and helper, also my husband to organise the apartment and to correspond with/ look after the guests. I think both my husband and friend were overwhelmed dealing with the back to back reservations over July to September while doing their day jobs. I am so sorry that it was not pointed out to you that the bedroom sockets are not available for charging or plugging in other electrical gadgets apart from the bedside lamps. A safe and specially adapted outlet with sockets to charge any electronic gadgets is actually by the TV in the Living Room. The extension cable also has some USB ports. The restaurants and bars on either Stoke Newington Church Street or the Kingsland Road and the High Street are approximately 5 minutes ride by train from Stamford Hill to Stoke Newington Station, OR,15-20 minutes walk. For walking however, one needs to be familiar with the backstreet short cuts. Again, my apologies that this was not pointed out to you at the time. I understand from my neighbour that you were a fantastic guest who followed all the apartment expectations. This was very much appreciated. I look forward to being your host again whenever you return to N16.
