The garden room is a quiet and cozy room located in the back of the house. It has a nice double bed with a thick futon mattress & memory foam topper and sleeps two people. Enjoy freshly laundered pure white cotton sheets and pillowcases.
Friendly family house, walking distance to city centre, plenty of buses, great tasty breakfast (organic whenever possible), free wireless internet, fun landlady, and quiet street.
We provide a good breakfast in the morning including tea, coffee, fruit, granola and oats, or toast and jam, peanut butter, etc.
The home is on a tree-lined street close to parks and the city-centre. There is an enormous and open park a short walk away with the river running through it.
There are many food options all within walking distance. There is a lovely gastropub opposite our home that is great for drinks and dinner. There is an excellent Indian restaurant close, an American diner, a Lebanese and a Thai place close as well.
There are 2 kittens roaming around the kitchen & sitting room so please let me know if you are allergic. They is not allowed in the bedrooms.
Cardiff being flat is great for cycling and there are bike hire places locally. We have quite a few maps of Cardiff that you can use. I have a great knowledge of the area and can help print out directions or even call you a cab to get to wherever you want to go.

Quite a lot, normally!
Friendly, mixed, 'villagey' atmosphere
Please vacate the room by 11am on the day of departure (midday on a Sunday).
Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Caroline is a very good host. Would stay again anytime.
This was a lovely place , very quiet and easy to find. I had lots of information from Caroline and the bed was very comfy. Everyone was welcoming and friendly - even the cats! The neighbourhood was very nice with a park and shops nearby. There was a wide choice of things for breakfast.
Caroline was a wonderful host. Really flexible about arrivals - accommodating my changing plans with an easy and welcoming smile! The room is lovely and light, looking out onto a garden. With a beautifully comfy bed and a really welcoming host, what more could a visitor wish for? Thank you Caroline!
Perfect location, in a very nice part of Cardiff, close to some great bars and restaurants, and a short pleasant walk to the city centre and the Mellennium stadium.
Had a very pleasant stay here, and would recommend highly.
Caroline is a great host - very friendly and a pleasant person to chat to.
The room was perfect - clean, tidy and with a large comfortable bed. There are many fascinating paintings on the walls that provide for interesting distraction and the two resident cats give the place a homely feel.
The neighbourhood is lovely; within walking distance of the city centre and with a variety of amenities nearby (parks, coffee shops etc). There is a comfortable pub across the road that provides good food up till 9.30pm.
Caroline was a very friendly and welcoming host. The room and house were very cosy and clean, and we particularly enjoyed meeting Caroline's two kittens, who are beautiful and playful. We stayed for just one night but got given a really nice breakfast in the morning and had a lovely chat with Caroline before heading off to do some sightseeing in Cardiff. V quiet and pretty area, about a 15/20 minute walk to the main centre of Cardiff which was perfect for us.
My experience was very welcoming with Caroline being very accommodating with my arrival time. The place is easy to find and perfect being a short stroll into the city centre, with plenty of restaurants and bar on the way. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anybody when visiting the Capital.

Hi my name is Caroline and I am listing a lovely and airy attic room located in a leafy neighbourhood. Having lived in Cardiff for over 30 years, and doing a variety of jobs, I have a wide knowledge of the city plus the surrounding area, so whatever you might be interested in, I can probably point you in a direction. I consider food to be the fuel of life, so only buy high quality ingredients for the dishes I serve.
