Shared Property: This house is divided into seven private lofts, each with its own entrance. You will have total privacy in your studio, but you may hear other guests enjoying their stay. The pool, sauna, lounge, laundry, and garage are shared spaces.

No Air Conditioning: To keep the studio comfortable, it is equipped with both a ceiling fan and a floor fan that provide excellent airflow. Please note there is no A/C.

Tropical Environment: Our large backyard is a slice of paradise! As is common in Costa Rica’s tropical climate, you may occasionally see small ants or mosquitoes. This is a normal part of life here and does not reflect the cleanliness of the space. Refunds will not be issued for the presence of bugs.

Utilities: On rare occasions, external issues beyond our control may cause temporary interruptions to power, internet, or TV service. These events are uncommon, and refunds cannot be provided should they occur.

Cleaning Services: For your convenience, cleaning services are available during your stay for an additional fee.

Pets Welcome: We are happy to welcome your furry friends to the property.

Parking: The garage offers four shared spaces, available on a first-come, first-served basis. If the garage is full, we have additional parking two houses down — it’s free and has 24-hour security. The guard will open the other garage place for you.

Getting Here: Addresses in Costa Rica can be tricky. We’ll provide the exact location name to enter into Waze or Google Maps for accurate directions. Please read the check-in instructions carefully before arrival. We can’t be responsible if a taxi driver refuses to use navigation apps.

Rohrmoser is a secure and pleasant neighborhood right in the heart of San Jose. You can walk to the supermarket, restaurants, banks, and shops. It is also a great place if you need to drive anywhere in the city. The area is a very quiet one, with lots of green. There are two parks near the apartment. The biggest park in San Jose, La Sabana, is about four blocks away. These are great for exercise or just walking around. The National Stadium is also four blocks away.
