  • My fiancé and I spent 3 days at Leila and Ray's and couldn't have been happier. Great location for all of the sights! Ray met us at the apartment and welcomed us to Rome with a lot if great info. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

  • We had a wonderful time at Ray&Leila's. The appartement is ideally located near the Coliseum and others places of interest. It´s even possible to go for a walk in the morning, come back to the appt to eat and have a nap and go out again in the evening. Ray was very helpful and guided us to the appt and suggested very good restaurants in the area (Valentino and Taverna Romana). When we arrived Ray gave us a great tour of the appt, full of space for 3 people and also provided with tons of food (breakfast, fresh fruits and sandwiches). Additionaly Ray didn't hesitate when we asked him if he could take us to the airport at 4AM which was really helpful and much easier than booking a cab. Will definitely come back next time we go to Rome !

  • We had a wonderful time in Rome. The location is really good (5min from the forum romanum/colosseum). The apartment is great as well. Ray and Leila prepared everything, the kitchen was already filled with food and drinks and the beds are good. Rome is a beautiful city, especially when your apartment is well located in a no touristic area. People are very kind, and lots of great restaurants are close to the apartment. We didn't go to pubs, but when the weather's good, you can go to the piazza at the end of the via baccina. You will meet lots of interesting people! Rome is unique, and more enjoyable when the apartment's good, which was the case at via baccina. Thank you Leila and Ray! :-)

  • Ray is an awesome guy whom is so welcoming. The apartment is excellent and cozy. Both hosts Ray & Leila have provide a great environment and have made us feel like we are at home. The house is filled with food, snacks, Ham, milk, coffee and tea and have all the kitchen utensils available for cooking. Location is good as it is near roma forum. Just feel our stay at their apartment aint enough. Thank you for hosting us.

  • Wonderful apartment, spacious and comfortable, provided with all the necessary equipment for life. The apartment is located a few steps from the Coliseum in a quiet street. Attentive hosts prepared a tourist information about Rome. There is WiFi and laptop.
I recommend this apartment to my friends

  • Location Location Location! It is close to everything you want to go. You don't even need to take subway or bus to go places, may be except for Vatican City if you get tired of walking? I also found the the around of the apartment was a very cool and tip part of Rome towards the end of the visit in Rome. I wish I could spend more time in there. Major tourist spots are great to see but please walk around the apartment area. You will enjoy all those artist studios, galleries, little shops, awesome restaurants. Since it is very close to all the attractions, yet a bit off of the main tourist area, you will find truly amazing things.

  • The apartment was spacious and clean. Leila and Raymond met us to give instructions and helpful information. On a living room table, they provided many maps of Rome and even left a cell phone with an Italian SIM card in case of emergencies. We had access to the Internet via their in-house router. They also stocked their kitchen and fridge for us with coffee, bread, jam, butter, and cornettos.

The apartment is located in the Monti district (rione) of Rome, just a few steps from the Roman Forum and, a short walk to the Coliseum. The district features several bars, cafes, and restaurants that make for a welcoming vibe of locals and regulars.

To catch a taxi, it’s best to walk to Piazza Venezia’s taxi stand or, even closer, to the Hotel Forum’s lobby where one of the desk clerks will hail one for you. This only takes a few minutes. Municipal transit is close by.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay again if the apartment were available!

  • Ray met us at the apartment and was wonderful at showing us around. They had included maps and other material to help get around the city. Their lap top was also very useful. The kitchen was full of breakfast fixings, which was a nice welcome surprise. The bed, although a pull out couch was very comfortable. The best thing about the suite was the location - right down the street from the Forum and about a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum. This suite cannot be beat for comfort, amenities and location. I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting an authentic Roman holiday.
