The space
The spaciously furnished apartment with approx. 140 sqm in Scandinavian style is located on the first floor of a two-family house at the end of a dead end street.

The living and dining room has a three-sided view of a small forest and the surroundings. Relax in front of the TV on the sofa, the comfortable armchairs and rocking armchairs, or play a board game at the large dining table or watch nature outside? With a bit of luck, you'll see squirrels.
There is a large terrace with table and chairs. An awning provides shade when needed. The flower boxes are seasonally planted.

The large bedroom with the double bed (two mattresses) can be darkened, a spacious wardrobe offers space for the entire wardrobe.

The second bedroom with two single beds, wardrobe, wardrobe room, small armchair. View of nature.

During your stay

Marburg is an old university town; there are many romantic spots to see and experience.

The upper city with its beautiful half-timbered houses and the winding alleys that lead up to the castle is a highlight. Up here you have a great view of the city and countryside. A restaurant with beer garden invites you to take a breather. The castle houses a collection on the history and customs of our region. Other attractions around the castle are an open-air stage for concerts, theatre and cinema in the beautiful season, a rosarium, a small park and indeed a vineyard - just like in Landgraf's time.

The Elisabeth Church, one of the first purely Gothic churches in German culture, is a real treasure chest with shrine, Barlachkreuz, altars, sculptures, burial places, coat of arms and so on. It was once a famous place of pilgrimage.

A short walk from the Elisabeth Church through the new university library and the old botanical garden leads to the newly renovated art museum with the wonderful collection of modern art from Hilde Eitel's legacy.

The new botanical garden is located just outside, on top of the Lahnbergen mountains and attracts with a butterfly house (up to and including September). Not far away there is award-winning new architecture: the Particle Therapy Centre and the Spiegelslustturm with a nice café that is at the same time a social project and offers another spectacular view.

The extensive network of cycle paths and many hiking trails start in the immediate vicinity for those who are connected to nature; swimming pools and climbing hall for the athletes. Theatre and concert from classical to jazz to rock, folk for culture fans. We will gladly provide you with tips and brochures before or during your stay with us and will always be available for any question.
