In Trastevere, in a beautiful historic building overlooking the famous flea market of Porta Portese, awaits a welcoming and colorful bed and breakfast to enjoy an unforgettable holiday in Rome. Every morning a hearty breakfast with coffee, tea, milk, fruit juice, toast, jams, yoghurts and cereals. Alessia and Silvia will be on hand to offer helpful advice during your stay.
A retro charm is the setting for our 3 large rooms (1 with private bathroom and 2 shared bathroom) furnished with taste and attention to detail, all equipped with wireless Internet access, TV, ara-conditioning, tables for breakfast and kettles when you want to sip hot drinks in your room.
Thanks to its convenient location, the main cultural and artistic attractions of the capital (Campo de 'Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, the Capitol, the Vatican), are reachable on foot, with several means of transport that can get comfortably in front of the bed and breakfast. And 'well connected with Termini railway station, the airport is due to the Trastevere station nearby. Also located in an area that offers numerous restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, clubs that meet all tastes.
Our stay at Alessia &Silvia's green room was absolutely perfect. The room was really clean and proximity to different modes of transportation was such a plus. Alessia and Silvia were very gracious and helpful.
Silvia was such a warm and kind host! She was flexible on our arrival time and met us right at the apartment. Her knowledge of Rome was wonderful - she shared many insights and recommendations. The room was large and bright, and very clean! Silvia also provided a lovely breakfast in the morning - coffee and toast, yogurt and cereal, along with her company! She was very friendly and nice and patient with our sub-par Italian :) We have nothing but good things to say about our stay!
awesome location! alessia and silvia were very nice and extremely helpful! would definitely stay again
This space could not have been better for our stay. Alessia and Silvia were so helpful and helped with any information on how to get around town. This was a perfect place and location for someone who wants to to have a quiet place to rest and the perfect location to check out Rome!
Also, a wonderful and fun cafe next door with such friendly staff.
All around a wonderful experience!
The green room and private bathroom both are spacious and well worth the money. The bed is good, Wifi worked perfectly and we did not use the TV or air conditioning, but both were present. The included breakfast is a small selection of toast and cereal, which was more than appropriate.
Even though we arrived pretty late on a Friday evening, Silvia made sure this was no problem at all. The B&B is located just four tram stops from the centre of Trastevere and six stops from Piazza Argentina, which lies within walking distance from many sites (e.g. the Pantheon). Multiple buses and one tram have a stop just in front of the apartment. Overall we were very happy with the location.
Both Alessia and Silvia were helpful and more than able to give us a head start in lovely Rome. The map they supplied including directions and public transport information helped us during the weekend. It was especially Silvia who made us feel very welcome and made sure our stay was as good as she could possibly make it.
Beautiful room at a beautiful city... The hostesses were nice and gentle and somewhat helpfull... Allthough I must say the dreamyness of the city just dazzled us...
We really enjoyed our stay with Alessia and Silvia this past week in Rome. The green room has a private bathroom which was fantastic and the room itself was very large and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast in the apartment every morning and Silvia gave us many tips on the sightseeing in Rome. Alessia was very helpful prior to the visit in giving us directions and the apartment was very easy to find. The location is very convenient near the tram and bus, but we were also able to walk to many major sights. Trastevere is a fantastic area to stay and we were so glad that Alessia and Silvia were great. We purchased a Roma pass from Silvia when we arrived and we got really good use out of it in our four nights in Rome. The rooms in this apartment are on the third floor above a busy street so I would suggest earplugs for light sleepers. This apartment had everything we needed and we were very happy with our wonderful stay and our helpful hosts. Thanks Silvia and Alessia!
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was one of the best BnB's that we stayed at. Alessia and Silvia are helpful and friendly. Their check-in/out policy was truly flexible, and they responded to my text messages quickly when I was trying to find the place.
Great location, with Tram 8 right outside the door. They gave us great food recommendations, tips on which buses to take, and breakfast everyday was great. They even had Roma Passes for us to purchase.
A clean, private, cozy, beautiful huge room! Silvia is fabulous, and the tips of the restaurants were wonderful.
Highly recommended!!! Me and my mother really love this place!
We had an excellent experience at Alessia and Silvia's BnB. We interacted mostly with Silvia who was great! When we first arrived, she chatted with us and explained all the transportation and where things we wanted to see were in Rome. The room was beautiful and kept very clean! We enjoyed eating breakfast in the kitchen and interacting with other guests; that really enhanced the experience. They were also prompt and eager to help in responding to any requests we had.
They sell Roma Passes which I recommend getting because you can cut the line at the Colosseum and other places; also includes all transportation.
The flat is in the Trastevere area of Rome which is less touristy (by that mean it felt like locals lived in the area) and next to some really great restaurants.
