Branka was great and Enes, who takes care of the house, was super friendly and helpful. Enes even cooked two meals for us. So kind!
i had a lovely time, such a nice place to come and retreat from the chaos of downtown and sobe. close to wynwood and close to the bridge to north beach. REALLY loved all the art and furniture around the house. it's how my miami house would look like.
Great Room with own bathroom and a cosy balcony. The house is nice decorated with an beautiful floor. Communication was quick and easy
The atmosphere is magnificent, we had a good time. The host is really nice. And Miami is great
I really enjoyed my stay at Branka's apartment. In fact for the 4 nights I had booked the room I almost felt like home. All the art and all of the nice vintage furniture and decorative things that are carefully placed all around the place give it a very personal and unique touch. Too be honest I could even picture myself living there for a while, that's how comfortable I was. The patio was a nice place to hang out and have good conversations with other guests. Enes lives right next door and takes care of the apartment. He was always around and had a cheerful demeanor, always up for a bit of a chit chat.
The neighborhood is particularly nice. There are quite a few great places to eat on Biscayne Blvd, all in walking distance. I'd recommend Blue Collar, Jimmy's diner and Dogmatic for great hot dogs. There are two nice parks, Lincoln park, which is smaller but right at the bay side. I even spotted some dolphins there. It has a farmers market on Saturdays. Morning side park is down Biscayne Blvd and also right at the bay. I even got my hair done at one of the salons close by.
We had such a wonderful time at Branka's zen gem. We stayed in the master bedroom with a private bathroom. It as very spacious and comfy. The location was perfect, we were close to South Beach, and there was also a great coffee shop/cafe right right down the block from the house. It was also nice to be able to walk to the water and see the bay. I would definitely recommend this listing. I would pick staying in a cozy home like this rather than a hotel any day. Thank you Branka!
Overall we had a good stay. We arrived later than planned and even though Branka wasn't there, her friend let us in and showed us around. Location is good if you have a car (free parking right outside the house was great),15 minutes to Downtown Miami and South Beach. Found 2 great places for coffee/breakfast: Cafe Europa (2 min walk from the house) and Balans Cafe (about 10 min walk - Biscayne Blvd between 67th and 68th streets).
Our room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom inside the room could use some cleaning though. Because there are other people staying in the house (at least there were when we were there) and using the common living room/kitchen, there isn't much privacy/quietness. Nothing wrong with it as long as you expect it. The door to our room didn't lock, which didn't really bother us although it did take away from the overall safety/comfort a bit. Overall, it felt like we stayed in a dorm (a decent one).
Our stay at Branka's was nice, Enes greeted us and explained where everything was, and even gave us some tips on the city. Our room, the master bedroom was nice and spacious, bright at daytime but not very well lit for the night. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac with Ocean view at the end of it, and all felt very arty and somewhat bohemian... Only downside was the fact that you couldn't lock your bedroom door, and the main door didn't feel very sturdy, so it might not be for you if you (over?)-worry about your stuff.
Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Although the room was very clean and comfortable, but very commercial, the worst time to experience.
